On the way to finishing my Lightning Vixens wood elf team and getting a bit fed up with painting lady elfs, I got around to adding a couple more star players to the roster of my necromantic team, the Agramonte All Stars. So, without further delay:
Count Luthor von Drakenborg and Wilhelm Chaney are Heresy miniatures (the later with sculpted armour, padding & belts), Hack Enslash is comes from Impact! and Ramtut III is the official GW miniature.
Hopefully I will soon be able to post a few more that are being prepared for the Lightning Vixens: Jordel Freshbreeze, Eldril Sidewinder (finished), WillowRosebark and Zara the Slayer.
Comments, sugestions and (why not?) requests are welcome but I am honestly more interested in seeing what other people made for star players. |

not sure I have any star players painted up, other than ones that are being used as positional players now, like htark the unstoppable
but considering how few teams I have painted this isn't much of a surprise |

Thanks! If I recall correctly it's a kind of sawdust-based flock that is used for model trains. Looks good but has 2 caveats :
- sometimes, when gluing, the colour may leech out of the sawdust and spread too uniformly
- the dye that is used is not UV resistant (I thing) so that in a couple of years the colour dies out (looks kinda good, actually) |
