Eric!!!!
Where the hell you been.
Congrats to the Jones brothers for another great Deathbowl. Love the new format, makes for some even crazier fun. Only flaw I find is that for myself it happened and I know it also happened to a couple of others. My direct opponent was the same in 2 games. I know that we need to win the complete table now but playing vs the same coach twice is not the best in my eyes. Other than that I would not change a thing.
Congrats to all the winners and a big thank you to all my opponents. As always you all make the game that more enjoyable.
Now to the biggest shock of them all....
After playing in 11 DeathBowl tounaments I have finally won something other than Best Sportsmen of Best team....
1st place baby!!!! |

Great location, 20 coaches were playing at five tables. I think the vast majority of people preferred the new continuous play over the old ruleset. It definitely encouraged more non-traditional teams such as dwarves or goblins. Surprisingly, only one amazon team!
Dan won the whole thing with his Skaven, showing that agility teams are still a force in Deathbowl. Manu came second with Orcs. Third place was tightly contested, Glenn got it with his Chaos Pact team.
Most touchdowns went to Marc-Andre with his Skaven, who scored half of them in his 7-0 fourth match. Most casualties went to Niagara-Joe's Undead (15 or so). Best Defense was Kohl with his Humans (no touchdown conceded). Best painted and sportmanship went to Greg with his Lizards. Wooden spoon went to Colin's gobbolinos. |

Deathbowl Standings:
1. Dan Chaput - Skaven (Tournament Champion)
2. Manuel Leclerc - Orc (2nd Place)
3. Glenn Jones - Chaos Pact (3rd Place)
4. Joe Michaud - Undead (Most Casualties with 15 & Rising Star)
5. Alex Weiss - Amazon
6. Greg Shelton - Lizardmen (Most Sporting & Best Team)
7. Rob Keefe - Human
8. Marc-Andre R - Skaven (Most TD's with 14)
9. Leathan Keillar - Lizardmen
10.Peter Meers - Necromantic
11.Austin Shelton - Lizardmen
12.Chris Wilson - Dark Elf (Golden Ass)
13.Rod Davidson - Orc
14.Mark Dagostino - Norse
15.Pat Gilbert - Dwarf
16.Mark Hickling - Goblin
17.Kohl Hedley - Human (Best Defence with 0 TD's allowed)
18.Gord Macdougal - Dark Elf
19.Trever Meers - Orc
20.Colin Keillar - Goblin
A few things of note from the tournament that I felt could be mentioned: Only 2 points separated 1-6th place, 4th & 5th place were only a half point off of the podium with 4th place having the tie breaker advantage. TD's was decided in the final round of the tournament as Rob's humans had a slight lead before Marc-Andre put up 7 TD's in his final game! Joe managed to maintain a slight lead in the CAS battle staying 2 ahead for most of the tournament. Most sporting was highly contested with 3 people in the running within 1 point of each other for being 'Da Nice Guy'. All around a great event to be a part of and just hoping everyone enjoyed it as much as we did running it!
Hope to see you all soon at a tournament in the near future, thanks again!

Sounded like a great tourney. If I did not have to deal with hard timelines at work I would have made this tourney my first stop on my fabulous Ontario vacation
Now that I am integrated into the West Coast lifestyle, I only play BB ironically
@Taxal: your mum and I were so proud of your success, that I took her on a victory lap around the house |

Results are all entered and finalized. Keep in mind that the results are still based on the direct matchups across from you while the tournament standings this year were determined by the overall table results plus the bonus points scored at each table.
***If someone can push the Magic Button to show the results have been entered please***
Thank you again to everyone that came out this year! We are already working on the tournament for next year, hope to see many of you throughout the year!

Trevor_NFBBA is Greg's brother from Niagara Falls, not Pete's son, don't push the button yet , there needs to be an edit. |

Going to need the NAF name for Trevor Meers then as I thought that was it. Should be easy once I have that, will send Peter a message to confirm. Thanks Rod and Gaixo, will check in if I have problems... |

It was probably pushed by someone who wasn't aware of the issue and had another tournament's results pending. But yes, it can still be edited. |

Okay, so I figured out the NAF name for Trever Meers but when I went to edit I only have the option to re-enter all of the matchups over again, which if I remember correctly will enter them as a 2nd set of matchups instead of overriding just the results for one participant.
Gaixo or Clan_Skaven if you have any info that will make this edit easier that would be great! I basically need to edit one NAF member for the correct one Trevor_NFBBA to be replaced with trev1.
If either of you can let me know how to go about making this change please, thanks

Fixed. (You need a certain level of staff permissions to make corrections of that type.)
Trevor_NFBBA will continue to show a "false" orc ranking until a full recalculation is run, but it will disappear at that point. |
