The only juice I am on is the sweet nectar of victory. Sorry that you won't be there Tom, I always enjoy stepping on the backs of Americans as I climb my way to the top! |

Hey, everyone. Here are some interim results from day 1:
http://www.engler.ca/blog/?p=1463
We have two undefeated coaches (grant85 with three wins, Peter_Meers with two wins and a tie) facing off at the top table at 11AM today for game 4. The fouling race is also hotly contested with tlawson in first with 39 points (7 stuns, 8 KOs, 5 CAS), Peter_Meers in second with 37 points (11 stuns, 3 KOs, 4 CAS), and andyinjapan in third with 33 (9 stuns, 2 KOs, 5 CAS). |

Blingtoof's Gitbash 4 is in the books! I’d like to quickly thank Black Knight Games for hosting us, Impact Miniatures for sponsoring us with some great prizes, and a special thank you to Kevin “Frostmane†Stewart for generously donating his North American Team Championship Skaven/Goblin hybrid team as a prize. I will blog about the event later this week but here are the results. Wins were scored at 3 points, ties at 1 point, losses at 0 points. Tie breakers were net TDs, net CAS, total TDs, total CAS.
Tournament Scoring (W-L-D):
1. grant85 (Wood Elf): 13 points (4-0-1)
2. Stimme (Dwarf): 10 points (3-1-1)
3. Kikurasis (Undead): 9 points (2-0-3)
4. Manz62 (Orc): 8 points (2-1-2)
5. brunner (Human): 8 points (2-1-2)
6. hammer16 (Pro Elf): 8 points (2-1-2)
7. Peter_Meers (Orc): 8 points (2-1-2)
8. wapcaplets (Underworld): 7 points (2-2-1)
9. tlawson (Norse): 7 points (2-2-1)
10. Barrovian (Underworld): 6 points (2-3-0)
11. Da5id (Chaos Dwarf): 4 points (1-1-3)
12. andyinjapan (Orc): 4 points (1-1-3)
13 jarpox (Orc): 3 points (0-2-3)
14. Spazzfist (Ogre): 0 points (0-5-0)
Trophy Winners:
Tournament Champion: grant85
Best Fouler: tlawson (81 points for 17 stuns, 12 KOs, & 10 casualties from fouling)
Most Touchdowns: grant85 (17; title graciously yielded to Stimme to spread the prize pool around. Prize was inadvertently awarded to brunner because of TO error)
Most Casualties: Peter_Meers (13; 3-way tie with Stimme and Da5id. Peter_Meers 7 Da5id were also tied for net casualties at +10 so foul points were used as a final tie-breaker)
Best Team: Spazzfist (“Los Luchadores†– a Mexican wrestling mask-themed Ogre team)
Best Sport: Barrovian (The man who loves Blood Bowl most of all)
Wooden Spoon: Spazzfist
Thanks to all the coaches that came and made it a fun event. It was very encouraging to see that eight different coaches received votes for best sport. My biggest priority for Blingtoof's Gitbash is to make a tournament that is fun for everyone and if that many coaches were thought of as the best sport then you guys are doing something right. Also, it was great to see the theme of the tournament embraced with coaches combining for a grand total of 99 stuns, 39 KOs, and 48 casualties from fouling.
Next year will be the Gitbash's five year anniversary and I want to make it the biggest & best Gitbash yet. I hope to see you all there. |

I must also extend a big thank you to Alex (Stimme) for being the official un-official photogrpaher once gain. My shaky-ass hands and blindness always lead to crappy pictures when I take them so I'm grateful to Alex for his taking the time to do this! |

Fresh pictures of some of the gits bashed this year at Blingtoof!
PS: As with all previous albums, the image size is automatically reduced to save space and bandwidth; if you would like the full size version of any photo, drop me a line.
