as for my preferences, I'll be happy to convert something but I'd prefer to be in with a chance of painting a "real one". And I think Melifaxis should have first pick of what he wants to paint, after the lord has gone to Anthony.
I'm easy, is all I'm saying
Are we getting some tranfsers printed then, or are we trying are hand at painting the logo? I don't think we need to wait for the transfers as they are generally one of the last stages anyway.
Bases - I normal glue sand to the bases, , undercoat the mini & base, paint the mini, then drybrush the base Scorched Brown, then Bestial, then Bleached Bone. Finish it off with static grass and the occaisonal white pitch marking. Don't see any reason to deviate from this "grass" theme but again, I'm easy.
Coloured rings (oo-er). I'd prefer not to, but we could have a standard coloured ring, then a coloured square on the front and back where we can also paint the player's number? And sign the base too
EDIT: A word of warning though - my team is painted in black and white stripes and to be honest they don't look THAT good. Maybe small sections in black and white, but then people think they look like referees |

I have a collection of grave markers, piles of skulls and such from GW mail order and would be happy to make up a turn marker or perhaps reroll markers as it looks like there are enough people painting the team and staff. |

just thought - a vamp team is 6 vamps and a lord so most people are going to have to do conversions for the thralls
and the head coach is a PLAYER too! |

All the more reason for plenty of thrall Asst. coaches then.
Trust me, I run a vamp team in the MBBL, and as many of my permenant SI and deaths to the thralls have been caused by my vamps as by my opponents.
For some reason the opposistion pick on the vampires! I've no idea why, they play like elves!

Well you need:
Vampire Head Coach
6 Vampires
10 Thralls
The team can freeboot a wizard, so if someone could do like a Necrach Vampire with the spellbook or such (I just like the Necrach wizard best) ... that would be very very cool. That's 18.
Apothecary model that would be 19.
I'm going to do 3 assistant coaches on one stand (ie still kinda one fig, but 3 asst. coaches). That's 20.
Add in a custom turn marker and that 21.
Then you have 2 cheerleaders and bam that's 23 painters.
A team like this would be well worth the group effort. Get a volunteer for each item and you'll have the team.
Anthony = Head Coach
Tim = Vampire (if allowed)
Galak = Asst. Coach
Squiggoth = Cheerleader
Torpor = Turn Marker
Get a volunteer for the wizard and apothecary and life is pretty good for the team.

No, no, no, no, no, no! I think I can manage a conversion, just the painting might be a bit dodgy
That's why I said I'd go for a thrall (or better still, a asst coach). Nobody will be looking at them if Anthony's painted up the lord |

Sorry ... my bad ... but you get the point about the division of labor being organized.

I'd love to try a vampire. It makes my teeth quiver thinking about it. |

I wouldn't mind doing the Wizard or apothecary. Unless someone is already doing these. |

Well, I would like to try a Vamp, but would settle for a thrall, not great at converting so I would hope if it's a thrall that it's one of the GW ones. |
