Fyi, I checked with Tom twice to be sure and he will definitely be in Cincinnati on those dates. Please remove him from the list. It would be a disgrace to the community if there was a riot cuz some of his fanbois show up and he isnt there.
Next time, wait for him to announce himself. Thank you and have a wonderful weekend. |

Good to hear! We have 3 new coaches joining us this weekend and we don't want them to be frightened off by old dirty tom balls. |

Hey All,
Just a few final notes to mention before we begin the weekend...
1. kitchener and waterloo roads are fucked. road closures change daily & the most direct routes are all torn up for the new rail system. msg me directly here, on fb on my cell if you need help getting to my place or the pub
2. friday and saturday night all are welcome to come for beers and board games at my place, same thing on contacting me for address etc. last year vanderby had 2 (!) whole beers
3. we will have at least 3 new players with us this weekend, please remember to be fair yet fun as we want to encourage them to come out again. our local players have made great progress but may still need clarifications on rules, skills, results etc. thanks
4. as much as possible please try to support our venue. if you need to run out and get lunch from a different place feel free but if you can spend your money at the pub they (and I) would be grateful. sat & sun morning you are welcome to bring in tims / micky dee's etc for breakfasts. the bar opens at 11am and kitchen opens at 2pm, try to plan your breakfast accordingly thanks-thanks
5. as no one has sent a roster in & i didnt ask PLEASE bring at least one printed copy of your roster. two would be great but im not going to lose sleep over it.
I am very excited for the weekend and cant wait for everyone to descend on Kitchener-Waterloo for the second year!
-thanks |

I'd like to try Puerto Rico, if it doesn't take too long and people are motivated to play it. Or Powergrid. |

I will happily play either of those. If Alex can't bring them, I can. |

My copy of the special edition of Puerto Rico is on loan to a friend. Powergrid I can bring no problem.
I still have my old copy of Puerto Rico in a storage bin somewhere but if Ken can bring his copy that'll be easier. Along the same lines, I can also bring San Juan to get that Puerto Rico feel with a shorter play time (and much less table space). |
