I have two questions:

1) In a recent game my witch elf got a push back roll on a skink who was at the sideline. i stated that i was going to put the midget lizard over the side line and let tha crowd do its work, mY opponet said that because i blocked him diagonally i had to move his skink to an empty square. when we checked the rules they seemed to support this, but seemed to be a bit vague. Is this right?

2) can a apoth heal a player at any time or must it be as soon as the injury occurs?
thanks in advance

1. Your opponent was right.
2. Must use him right away.

For push backs the priorities are

1) Empty Squares (the ball doesn't matter!)
2) Out of Bounds
3) Occupied squares

So if any of your 3 normal squares are empty you must choose one of those, and you can only choose to push back another player if all the squares are occupied.
