Someone in our league last night was using a bribe to prevent someone from being expelled from the game. He rolled a '1'. His question was could he reroll the bribe roll.
After deliberation we decided he would be able to.
Were we wrong? I am wondering if there is anything in the rules that would say he couldn't. |

I would think that he could not. The rerolls are intended to represent the training of the team's players and do not affect any rolls that do not happen on the pitch.
By the same token you could not reroll the apothecary results, wizards, kick offs, etc. etc. |

You can only use a team reroll on anything performed by a player on the pitch.
A bribe isn't part of a player's action, so as said above, you may not.
But you may use a second bribe on the same expulsion roll if you have one. |

Yup. You can't reroll wizards or apoth's either. |
