The rules state, that regeneration rolls may not be re-rolled.
An Igor as inducement allows to re-roll a failed regeneration throw.
So, this is contradicting. Even if it is clear for most of us that the igor rule beats the regeneration rule, it could cause a discussion during a game.
Is there any chance that regeneration rule is changed in the wording, so that this contradiction does not occur any more?
e.g. from "Regeneration rolls may not be re-rolled." to "Regeneration rolls may only be re-rolled using an igor"? |

To be honest, I think it would cause more problems if you added "Regeneration rolls may only be re-rolled using an igor". Then you would also have ot include a statemtnt about what an igor is, and where it may be found.
Seriously man, if anyone in my gaming group tried to bring this up as a "cause for discussion" I would consider it for a cause for a "reality-check-smack-in-the-head". |

The oldest Problem in the Warhammer-World: "If a rules-definition is not decisive, use logic." will never work.
One example: "My Khorne-Knights are in frenzy... but their horses are not. So they don't have to attack..."
Logic would have told you: If you are a horse, and a 400-pound guy with a battleaxe on your back says "CHAAAARGE"
you will do so. Wether you are in the same mood or not.
The errata says: Mounts do get the same special rule...
I wish it was possible to solve that kind of stuff without adding it in the rules. |

IMO Igor's are clearly an exception to the general rule as stated in the skill description. |

I agree with Doubleskulls.
Igor does not appear in every game as he is an add-on like a wandering apothecary. He's there to make sure that when you're facing an extremely stronger team you have that extra chance to save a valuable player. As such he's a direct exception to the general rule and that is his point and his purpose. If his skill didn't work to subvert the normal rule then he wouldn't have it. |

And the Special Play cards are FILLED with exception to the rule events just like the Igor .... which would make the rulebook a mess if you tried to account for them all in the rules.
Which is my way of saying... 100% concur with doubleskulls |

If there was to be any rewording, I would suggest "Regeneration cannot be rerolled with team rerolls or Pro" |
