In June myself and Purdindas will be running Scotland's premier Bloodbowl event , the Albabowl.
A family friendly weekend of games, food and drink.
The set up will be along the same lines as previous events , held at the Pease Bay caravan park near Cockburnspath it will be 6 games over the 2 days with a BBQ , weather permitting, on the Saturday and Chilli on the Sunday night for anyone who wants to stay and lots of beer.
This year the Monday and Tuesday following are bank holidays so hopefully more people can stay over til the monday.
Tourney Rules:
6 round swiss
CRP. IP and 4 minutes rules to be discussed before each game.
All official teams allowed inc. Slann, Chaos Pact and Creepers
1 100 000 GP for Team Creation.
Inducements and star players allowed
Halfling Chef 100K (Halflings Only)
Bribes 50K (Goblins Only)
Scoring - W/D/L - 10/5/0
Bonus point per TD (max 3)
Bonus point per Cas (max 3, only those worth spp)
Skill Advancement:
10points to spend at team creation on skills and stat increases.
1st copy of any skill: 1point
2nd copy: 2points
3rd copy: 3points
4th copy: 4points
+Av 2pts
+Mv 3pts
+Ag 5pts
+St 7pts
only 1 of each +stat per team
extra 2 point cost if a skill can only be taken on chosen player as a double
extra 2 point cost for a 2nd skill/stat added to chosen player
extra 4 points for a 3rd skill/stat added to chosen player

Caravans:
These can be hired by contacting Pease Bay directly, these generally sleep four or six although there may be extra floorspace.

Getting There :
Pease Bay is situated about 40ish miles south of Edinburgh, just off the A1. Details of how to get there are on their website, linked earlier. For anyone not driving up the nearest train station is in Dunbar and we can organise lifts to and from there. It may be possible to get a lift from Edinburgh but no guarantees on that one, post somewhere on TFF and we can see if anyone can help.
