Hi Guys,

Just wanted to say that this was my first experience at a tourny and I had a great time playing and meeting everyone. I'll definately be there for next year's Gen Con Bowl.

PS Any reason why my matches aren't recorded in the tournament section?

Yeah ... because I'm confused. Skavenboy you signed up for the NAF as William Hairston. For GenCon I had a Scott Hairston ... are you the same person??? I just want to make sure as I try to be very careful to not give NAF points to the wrong coach. You were the coach of the Run En Gunners ... is this correct?

If so I'll get your results and the results for the Bay City Drowboys in later this week.

Yeah that's me, sorry. My name is William Scott Hairston. I go by Scott. Sorry for the confusion.

Hey all. Just wanted to say that I had a great time at the tourney. It was the first time I've played BB in almost 2 years, and the first time at GenCon that I have skipped the 40k tourney in favor of something else. I'm soo glad that I did. I an definitely planning on next year, even if I don't make it to any other matches this year. I think my husband got a few picks of the tourney so I'll post the URL this weekend when I get them up.

It was a pleasure to have you in the tournament Arylith ... nice to have some class with so many vagabonds at the tournament ... Very Happy ... yeah you with the Goblins ... I'm talking about you ... Laughing

Arylith had a really good chance of getting Most Casualties coming out of game 3. But Da_Scum's Goblins really put the kabosh on the party the next day. If you reverse the score and cas on Arylith game with Da Scum she would have ended up 4th overall at the tournament ... but the Rat Ogre was too sated from the carnage of the previous day and choose not to terrorize the Goblins.

Ah well Arylith ... if you have to lose to Goblins in the last round of GenCon ... at least it was to the #1 rated Goblin coach in the world. Very Happy

Someday I hope to get another shot at Dave's Goblins ... I had Dave's number 2 years ago at the Underworld Cup and the dice turned evil ... some day I want another shot at him as well.

Anyway ... like I do with everyone I get to actually meet and talk to at GenCon ... I look foward to seeing you for next year's tournament. Glad the tournament proved run well enough to win over 40k. Very Happy

I'd like a revenge match vs. the gobos.

Last Aug. at the Games Day in Toronto, he tied me 1-1

But I only had like 5-6 Skaven left on the pitch, to his mass of green-skins.

When you have 9 players in the KO'd box & all 9 stay in the KO'd box.... Well I guess I was lucky to walk away with a tie.

I really wanted to spend time in the Blood Bowl area, but my event schedule conflicted with the tourney. I was able to stop by only briefly during the final round and didn't have a chance to introduce myself to anyone. It was disappointing for me as I really wanted to meet folks and put faces to the names I have seen online for the past three or four years. . .

I am planning to attend GenCon So Cal next year, perhaps I can participate then!

It's from the costume contest.

I was about to call you a bunch of morons for drooling over a pic of someone who might as well be a guy under the costume. But now that we can see her face and belly, i agree that she's attractive.

What can I say? The lads had a bad day picking up the ball, their earlier match with those annoying elves seems to always do that to them... Rolling Eyes

And next time those Chaos Dwarves won't get so lucky, but what do you expect from a broken team. Laughing Our OsterReich freund wouldn't be parading with the trophy if it wasn't for the sudden disaster in luck. Next time he'll be facing Goblins, and since he's used to facing all those inferior European Goblin coaches this should be a cake-walk. Mr. Green

And it's all about the Goblin's Dino-dice of doom...best chaotic dice in
the universe! The doom of Galek and our skaven Mistress... Very Happy

I hate those dice, not because they did anything wrong. They are just plain hard to read.
