I thought it was the other way around? Didn't you guys intend to be back in Montreal for this year's Death Bowl, thinking you'll have a chance this time around? Sigh, those Toronto guys never learn...

LOL! Ya, we're highly competitive. Even if it means stabbing each other in the back. LOL!

So the story has spread quite a bit i see. Is there anybody in TBBL who hasn't heard it yet? They said they'd try to keep it secret out of shame...

Canadian Open update!

John Lewis is in the lead after day one after winning 3 games with a perfect score. Brian St. James and Dennis Clapham are in the hunt... remember boys we named it the CANADIAN Open for a reason Wink

Hold on! It's still "my" trophey Trophy .... Oh yeah I King was the one who really was supposed to be the champion!

The whole tourney was clearly fixed!
Hmmm... We the Hell Pit Wildrats were the only Skaven team in the Canadian Open, & obviously due to the mass fear of any Skaven team's success, certain "precations" were taken.

First of all "Where was all the Warpstone?" My team thrives on Warpstone inbetween games/halves/plays... ok all the time! There was none there!

Where was the Warpstone that was supposed to be supplied in our Dug-outs? I'll tell you WHY there was none... Total & complete fear of the Hell Pit Wildrats is the reason why our precious Warpstone was rudely taken from our Dug-out!

My 6 yes 6 total double skull roles killed me, (but when it counts I muster only 2 skulls in the "SKULL OFF" compitition!) Bad luck you might say? Well no it was not bad luck, nope it was the staggering effects of Warpstone withdrawl.

My only mutation was right after my last game. One of my Gutter Runners mutated by getting Very Long Legs. To bad it only came in handy for its long walk home! Now not to beat a dead horse (a very fun past time mind you Wink ), but the lack luster amount of my teams Mutations was caused by.... Can you guess?...

LACK OF WARPSTONE!!! Yes another result of the devious workings of the Canadian Open organizers!

In Close....

We the Hell Pit Wildrats will be back to take "OUR" cup next year at the Canadian Open 2005. We will look forward to vengance against those who have beaten us this past weekend, & we do look forward to new opponents (victims) Next year!...... Wait thats another thing! Can I possibly start in a Tourney where I do not play Wood Elf first, Dwarf second? Two NAF tourneys, Two identical first Two races represented in both!

Hmmm.... Coincidence?......... I wonder...

We the Hell Pit Wildrats will take home our Spike Magazine championship this Fall, & possibly if we can manage to tunnle our way to Montreal, we will bring Death & Defeat to all who oppose us at the "DeathBowl2004"

Revenge will be sweet! (Not as sweet as Warpstone, mind you), but sweet all the same!

P.S. Our Rat Ogre "RAT-X" is hungry & waiting... be afraid, be very afraid!

Roderick Davidson "Head Coach of the Hell Pit Wildrats"

UNLIKE My fellow coach in the Niagara Falls Blood Bbowl League, Clan-MakeANYexcuseIcanMakebecauseIlostWITHmySKAVEN,
I make NO such excuses for my team...only for me and my Bull Centaur "go for it" happy self.

If only I couldhave controlled myself....a win that could have been vs Mr. Dundas.

Well that is what Rematches are for.....I look forward to it one day soon.

Oh and to Old_Man_Monkey, we had a Very good game, but Nuffle was totally against you. 1st turn blitz, 2nd1/2 Quick Snap and a Perfect Defence all in my favour.....It was a very Unlucky result for you. I'd like to have a more "Level Playing Field" type of game, to see if I can beat you without Nuffle's Help.

Cheers to all!! Congrats to Bud.

Bryan "40kvet" Carlaw.

PS.

Rod.....I beat you in our finals, and Everyone at the CDN. OPEN beat you, I think yor Skaven Need some practice. Like Picking up the Ball, Throwing the Ball, and Walking with the ball......Running comes later.

6 double skulls in the course of a tournament is actually very lucky. You got a lot less than you would with average luck. 1 in 36 blocks is a double skull, and if you didn't make at least 36 blocks per game (even with skaven), i don't know what game you were playing but it wasn't Blood Bowl!

Anyway, i'm glad the cup stayed in Canada, though i was hoping someone could take it to Montreal.

Can't wait to hear about all the tournament results!

I guess we can say that Toronto beat Montreal twice this weekend. Last time it was even (Montreal winning the Deathbowl cup, but the Leafs winning the game). Why is it that everytime we hold a tournament in Canada, the Habs are playing the Leafs during the same weekend in the same town? Maybe some conspiracy from Toronto to sap the troop moral of Montreal coaches when you nag us after another one of the Habs' heart crunching defeat?

well well well, I have just read everybodies smack talk and gotta say, didn't you guys know I wanted vengeance from being backstabbed at the Deathbowl 2003? I worked hard to get to the finals for the Deathbowl and get a 2-0-0-0 lead in the first half to only see my fellow TBBF's allow some non-TBBF'r (Zombie) take it away from me! Well, now that I can't be backstabbed I have clearly proven that I am the ultimate Canadian Bloodbowl coach of the entire world! muhahaha... ok... well, good anyways.

I'll see you all at the SPIKE tourny with my free ticket! ya baby ya!

Bud

Isn't Neo always first after day one of the Canadian Open?

Congrats to Bud. How many attended the Tourney? What were the final standings? Must have more info.
