August update!

I picked up my brushes for the first time in two months and started painting ol' #13.

He's about 1/2 finished now - I'm still not pleased with his flesh color - but he's coming along nicely.

I mighty actually get the chance to undercoat my zombie next week between wedding issues. Then it will just be a case of finding some time to paint! Why does it sound so easy! Rolling Eyes

Hey, I'm not sure on the process here, and perhaps a dubious area for me to make my first post.

But I'd love to be part of the team, if there are any models left unclaimed, I'm happy to paint anything, and paint to a reasonable standard.

Please advise me on whatever steps I have to take to be involved.

Also, I'm from Australia, is that a problem?

Here's the process Bean Dip.

1. Post here asking to be a part of the team Done!

2. Look at the first page of this thread and decide what you would like to paint. We mostly need Zombies & Skeletons, or if you're feeling creative, sideline staff and re-roll counters are welcome!

3. If you decide to paint a player, look at the numbers which have been chosen already in the first thread and pick a number for your player that has not been chosen yet.

4. Post here again with your choices.

5. Convert / Paint your entry. Try to stay in the guidelines of the 1st post in this thread for continuity.

6. Post here and I'll PM you my address.

7. Mail your entry to me by December 31, 2007.

8. Wait for me to post the winner, and if your name is drawn, wait for the team to arrive in the mail!

We have people from around the world painting; It shouldn't be a big deal to have someone from Oz joining. Very Happy

Nah, skip the Zombs and be creativel.
Bean Dip, being from Tasmania in the land of Oz, just get us a Tasmanian Devil to stand in for a Werewolf.
That would be scary cool.

Unfortunately, the Positional players have all been claimed.

So, unless someone wants to bow out, we're left with Zombies, Skeletons, and sideline staff/re-rolls.

I haven't received any positionals yet, though...

And only 4 months left to go!

Hoping to start on my Zombie next week (most of the week off) I had him primed, but the primer just looks rough and nasty so he's going to be stripped and re-sprayed before I paint him.

I finished the TBB mini late, and just last evening pulled the NAF mini out to look at it and start thinking agian. (while I was putting bases, weights and magnets on some EB minis)

I'd love to cut the arm off mine and move it, but I think due to the effect of time I'll probably just paint it. If I move it I'll have some GS work to do and I'm just starting to learn to do that, ie time consuming

Yes, I completely understand that the lack of tmie is totally my fault. Very Happy

Will be having an update in November - I haven't heard from anyone in several months.

I had to repaint my elf team for the world cup. I'm hoping that painting 1 zombie should now fit into my busy and stressful life. Assuming that my pregnant wife doesn't have some silly expectation about me looking after her in her condition! Where do women get these silly ideas!?! Rolling Eyes

I think they get that idea from their mothers.
