| Sounds interesting, but it's a long way for a one-day tourney. Any other Canadians going (preferably from Ottawa/Montreal/Kingston area)? |

Shadewe - I *hope* to make this an annual event, probably around the same weekend. Keep your fingers crossed.
Garth - I think you're right. I would estimate it to be between a 6-7 hour drive from Montreal to URI. I would be more than happy to look for some place for you to crash if you are still interested, but it *is* a long way for a one-day tourney.  |

Garth - would your wife want to visit my wife and two kids at my house, about 20 minutes north of the campus?
Melifaxis - I'm trying to drub up as much local interest as possible. I just haven't gotten any firm confirmations from my regular group. They're scared of me. |

That Opus is a Star Player from 2nd Edition. His stats (if I remember correctly) are ST 3, MV 6, AG 4, AV 8 with Block, Dodge, Catch, and Big Nose. Big Nose allows him to get +3 movement while playing in a Blizzard, but -3 movement while playing under Swealtering Heat. I never got a chance to use him, unfortunately.

| Garth - I can check into a number of places for you to stay. Most would be about 15 minutes north of campus (simply because anything closer to campus would be severely overpriced). My rough guess is that a one-night room would be around $70. Give me a day or two, please. |

| So far one guy in my league is a maybe if he can get out of the doghouse with his wife...all others have not answered. But, we have aleague get together tonight so I will bring all the info with me and see what interest/commitment I can generate. |
