Technically not, as the bonehead check ( as Melifaxis said) is NOT an action.....
While there is certanly room for debate, the rules stand.

Didn't think about that one...doesn't come up often with the Big Guy rule in place...hmmmm... |

Yep, that's why Pro is a little more powerful, it states that the player can reroll EVERY DIE ROLL he makes, except armor and injury rolls, not only actions....
