For myself it will most likely be leave the 16th late at night (overnight flight) stay at girlfriends family the 17th, then hotel for us two the 18th and 19th. Then stay and visit till the 25th. So as you guys decide which hotel you stay at I would like to know so I can get a room for those two nights. Going to be some legendary partying at night time........ |

I'll try to give you some tips for lowering the costs in amsterdam.
I know that the french coaches are going to rent some houseboats (can accomodate 6-8 persons, should be 20 Euro per night per person, but also allows you to cut costs on the food (kitchen available) ). The only problem is that I'm not sure how close to the venue the boats will be, but given the price of the tourney, the lodging at the tourney venue will probably be way more expensive.
Don't know if it is official yet, but the cost of the tourney should be around 100 - 150 Euro, and not including breakfast / diners.
Dam is expensive, that's a big downside of the world-cup this time. I guess you should put aside at least 1200 dollars.
And it is 6 coaches per team (West cost rules !!! ) |

Cool tips Lizzi!
I had not thought of houseboats.
There are canals pretty close to the Rai venues but don't know if they are houseboat suitable.
It would be ok to be right downtown and travel out to the venue anyway, short trip on the tram/cab.
Budgeting is the key thing.
Interesting news on the 6 per team! |

I will add a column for preferred team next to the coaches who are interested.
Plus a likelyhood of attending.
Hopefully you should get to play Khemri!! |

I am very likely to attend, and am unsure of which team to bring. I am tending to lean Norse for now, but cannot be sure what my mood will be this far in advance. |

Bring your Nurgle Spazz. Everyone will need to bring their A game for this tourney. |

A lot will depend on the team creation and advancement. Nurgle does make a lot of sense. If I am to be the #1 in the world, then I should give people a chance to take a shot at it in the world arena.
But Norse is the more dependable team. So for representing Team Canada that may be the better choice.
Like I said, will need to see the TV of the tourney and skill advancements. That will dictate it for me. |

Thanks for the info Spazz. There may be some serious negotiations within the team if the 1 of each race per team restriction is in place at this World CUp too.

I will be willing to be very flexible depending on who else is coming and what they are planning on bringing. |

Negotiations for Norse would probably end with Glenn and Leathan...if either of them end up going That's no knock on your game either Spazz cuz I love playing Norse as well but Glenn and Leathan take Norse to another level it seems.
I would tend to lean towards Dark Elves myself, at least initially...pending rules/restrictions etc... |

Don't worry, either way you cannot be defeated by the americans and aussies, and you'll probably struggle against the euros
FYI: last tourney rule:
team TV 110, 1 skill aded after each game (so 8 skills at the end of the tourney).
Pick a team that you like 'cause you're going to play them 9 times in a row ! |
