IIRC Dave Sutton is his name and he always has great diaramas for his themed teams. His pirate skaven team is fondly remembered round these parts. S. |

Edmonton Alberta has to have a 1-day event in the next couple of months so Dave can play at least 3 games before the year's end. It'd be a shame for him to lose that streak. He's been coming to the Spike! in BC since 2008 but unfortunately couldn't make it this year.
Somebody in Edmonton - please host a tournament. |

I did meet him one year during his goblin phase at the spike in toronto back in 2004, also had the pleasure of meeting rod as well ;]
I agree it would be a shame for him to lose his streak |

First NAF tourney in OZ was CANCON in Jan 2003
Have to be at least 5 of us on 10 years...averaging 6 or so tourneys a year. |

Just received word from Dave this morning. I alerted him to PowTown 2012 in Calgary and it sounds like he's going. Rock 'n' roll! |

Missed 2002 (just ressurection and maybe SPiky that year?)...missed 2006-2009 (coinciding with the time when my wife was pregnant/son was very little).
However I HAVE been to at least one tournament in each of those years. That tournament - I'm one of two players who have been to all eleven years of it - isn't NAF ranked and so doesn't show up on the lists.
Speaking of whom, if someone can drag Longfang along to an NAF tounament before the year is out then you can add him to the list too. |

Never fear, the streak continues! You can always count on a Goblin coach...with the correct bribes...to come through!
Made it down and of course the team of Legend "Da Maggot Scum" returned in tournament form and gave those players in Calgary a serious double-take on this "joke race team." Man makes me wish I had been able to make the Spike! 2012 as that would have been a serious change of results. One can seriously make an argument that in the hands of a proper (inebriated) Goblin coach that there is a real serious threat there.
2 Wins and a hard battled Tie later and we'll see just what the Goblin World standing have to say now! I had long argued that some of the changes in the last few years had made Goblins "unviable" as a tournament team to be played seriously. Oh you could still try them in leagues and have a blast provided you had the right mindset and opponents willing to accept your right to "berate and belittle your own team." But that newer change with Goblin Bribes being "only 50K" is massive for making a Goblin team have a fighting chance. (And removing that auto-ejection for the Pogo-stick) Though I still note that any serious Goblin team at this point still has to have "Ripper" if they intend to win by "skill not smash".
Though granted looking at the casualty total for Da Maggot Scum at Pow Town...wow...that really was not expected.
Better look out NAF, that new cream of Calgary coaches is GOOD. They ever get out to the Majors you may start seeing a major ripple in the standings.
Now lets drink some pints and play some bloodbowl gents! |

But I have played a tournament every year since 2002.

I notice that Geoff Porritt (Podfrey) has also done 11 years, again his attendance at Resurrection wasn't as a NAF member. |

Actually, I just went through the list of Aussie coaches who've played 100+ NAF games that Rabid put up on Ausbowl (figuring anyone who'd been playing tournaments consistently in that timeframe would probably have made their ton)... I only came up with three who had played every year 2003-2012 - yourself, Babs and Doubleskulls. OzJesting was next closest - he only missed 2010. |
