Well, the infamous MANHANDLERS (my Amazons) showed up at Resurrection and fondled everyone severely with their fists. Does that count?

Human Nuns (from shadowfordge) Port-du-ville Penguins
Human - Eslhiem Eagles
Orc - Orcland Raiders ( painted in silver and black as my wife likes the oakland raiders.)
undead - Fresh Start Club
And I am planning a celtic team based on the norse rules, that I haven't named yet.

Name them the "Slaanesh City Cheats." Paint them up like the Kansas City Chiefs of the NFL (red, yellow, and white).

That's a good name, but I already started painting them purple... going towards Purple Marauders, or something....

My three teams so far (yeah, newbie talkin') have been:

Washington Wardogs (humans named after the presidents),
Ravenhold Redcaps (Dwarves with no real theme), and
The Big Stong Nasty Guys Who Will Beat You Up (Night Goblins)

My buddies come up with some weird ones of their own, depending on the random name generator they last found:
Infectious Televangelists (Rotters with televangelist names)
Suicyd Kryme Gang (Skaven with gangsta names)
The Sneaks (Gobbos all named with adjectives ['Very Sneaky, Really Sneaky...] in three or four different languages)
Da Road Ruckers (I don't know wehre that came from...)

And a bunch more "Gladiators," "Stallions" kind of stuff.

Reminds me of a Second Edition team named "DWA": "Dwarves With Attitude." They featured such players as The Flesh Prince, Orange J, and Slavr Slav. I once ran with this idea for some Goblins named the "Def Pass Ambushers." It was fun while it lasted Wink

On a player-name tangent: I used to name all my Ghouls after food. Not just any food, mind you, but such things as "Chili Taco," "Caesar Salad," and "Filet Mignon." Ah, the good old days...

Fo the "shemps" I had no idea, but Google-assisted I'd think there is a connection to Army of Darkness. Close?[/quote]

Shemp is a credit/phrase used by the evil dead lot, meaning fake or fake like.

Our leagues have sported the following team names:
The Big Beef Bombers - Humans
Malt Liquor Marauders - Humans (all the players are named after blaxploitation stars).
Da Panzeez - A sensitive orc team prone to passing
Bonecrackers - Khemri
Soggy Bottom Boys - Lizardmen

Just a sampling of the better ones. I am thinking about painting an Amazon team which I would call the Lustrian Bikini Squad.
