Sounds like a decent plan runki!
I would suggest the length of stay you chose as well.
I don't want a hostel either, three star not a bad option. I have stayed in a bunch of hotels for work here, although they might be too pricy.
I am thinking we need 3 twin rooms, runki and L3athanlK, jrock56 and twodiceblock, leaving JTb and Zap. You don't snore right Zap?

I will do some research on the rooms, but those flights should be snagged before any more oil related political stuff happens.

The other team is currently empty. Joe just registered it in the hopes of getting enough Canadians to make two teams. Right now it will likely be filled by players from the west coast if they make a team.

Is this still the case? My membership to the NAF expired around Christmas and I only renewed a couple of weeks ago, so I missed 2 PMs from Joe regarding this. Note that we were looking to field a full team if we could.

Let me know, either here or my email @ thunder-bowl@hotmail.com.

Thanks,
Craig.

It is all good Criag, just let me know and we can change the names on team two.

Length of trip sounds about right and flights will be booked as soon as we possibly can. Not down with a hostel either but what about the Houseboats that were mentioned earlier in this thread by Laurent, he said they were approx 20 euros per person a night which is pretty cheap and they held 6-8 people each. Another option is staying 3 per room, will also cut on costs. The houseboats he was saying had kitchens as well which could be useful. Anyhow I'm down for whatever everyone decides on.

@JTB, You may want to consider a few of the guys from southern Ontario that have said they were going since the beginning before giving away all the slots on team 2. I believe Spazz, Talons, Anthony TBBF, and possibly Peter were all solid that they were planning on attending. Don't want you to jump the gun and have them be excluded if they were still planning on attending. Don't know the best way of contacting them to confirm but that was the last info I had.

On another hand, they have only 2 weeks left to constitute a 6 player team and to pay, so...

Guess we're the Southern/Eastern Ontario team now lol, or at least that is what has been marked off as paid.

@ JTB, true enough with regards to what Lizardcore said and them having contacted you. If the spots can be filled by other Canadians at this point that may be the best option rather than only having the one team go.

I'm currently registered and paid on an indivual slot. If you need another to fill one of the teams for Canada, you can stick me in. I live a couple miles from the Canadian border and i'm married to a Canadian. That makes me "nearly" Canadian, eh? Laughing

Coach #4 : Zap_Rowsdower : 15257
Coach #5 : runki_khrum : 6780

That's cool jtb, makes for 2 teams from Canada representing East/West coast. I definitely think we need to come up with a team name that is better than Eastern Canada...will think about it and toss some ideas around to see what people think and no we will not be the Maple Leafs!! cuz they suck Very Happy

What is the name of your league that you play in Ontario? Are all you guys members of the same league or do you just play in tournaments together? We only went with Team Thunderbowl as a name because all 6 of the guys going on this team are registered league members. If they all weren't we probably would have went with Canwest or whatever as we had members on our team who were from Calgary let's say, or something like Blame Canada.
