I'll retire the WE's for a while, maybe just for the rest of 2004 and bring em back to defend their Cup in 2005 Canadian Open.

They'll be back baby, getting beat up more than ever!

No, it looks like I'm going to get to 178 with my Orcs. You're safe... for now.

You Canucks are really funny.

First, you allow John Lewis to actually lead your events - for days at a time! If John's the top coach in the USA, I must already be pushing up daisies.

Second, you're fascinated by poutine.

I mean, it's unbelievable. Next thing you know, you deluded swillers will think that the Leafs are actually going to win the Cup some time this century.

I suppose I'll have to go to the Canadian Open next year just so I can stomp John, Anthony, and whatever other wheatbags the TBBF has to offer. At least this time I won't have to fly all the way to England to do it Smile

We all know the Wings are going to win the cup and that the Rangers will always have the highest payroll and still miss the playoffs allowing the Canadiens to sneak in. The Leafs will fall in the first round.

Ottawa/Wings Finals. You heard it here 1st, and yes the Spike! will be coming home to the USA.

Very Happy

Grrrr....

Tell me in advance what team you're bringing, and I'll show you what daisies look like.

Yes I am finally a NAF member and and I won sixth overall at the Canadian Open to become the best NFBBL player this year LOL.

Thanks for a great weekend and Ian don't worry about the position or prizes as I am probably the only 40k player in the top seven.

Just curious... I see the many new NAF players starting at a CR of 150. When will the CR be updated from the CDN. Open?

Also when will the match results be posted up?

Not trying to sound impatient. Just curious. (I shouldn't be in any great rush, due to the fact that my CR rating is probably gonna plummit down fast) Crying or Very sad

It usually takes a few weeks.

Most of the matches from the Canadian Open were entered into the site this evening. However, we're missing the NAF Name of one of the coaches and we won't finalize the tournament until we get it.

On that note - does anyone know Jon Guitard's NAF name? Jon, if you're reading this, please tell us.

As soon as we get that, we can enter the last few match-ups and update the site.

Also while looking over some tournaments, I discovered an error way back in the Canada Games Day Tourney. (God - what a week for errors!) OK, actually El Presidente Lewis noticed it. In any case, it was corrected. It made a small difference to the ratings for some of the coaches involved in that tournament.

Hmm... do I dare go and check the other tournaments I've entered into the site in the last year? Wink

OK, El Presidente gave the go-ahead and we posted all the matches from the Canadian Open, excluding the five for Jon Guitard. Once we get those matches sorted out, we'll post them as well.

7th overall !!!! wooty woot woot!

2nd in Canada next to Mr. Cuttlefish himself (by a slim margin mind you), not bad for 3 tournaments and with the WE's. I think my record is 13 wins, 1 tie and 0 losses with them, not too shabby Smile

Still using that cheeseball Orc roster with all the ST and Block you could possibly want? I fail to see how learning which team I'm bringing would help you improve it. Besides...you and I played a nice Amazon-Orc scrimmage via PBeM weeks before Resurrection. That didn't help you much, as I recall Wink

-Chet

P.S. To be fair, John didn't have great luck in our tourney game. Blitzers who die on GFIs don't help a coach's cause. But that's the only dollop of humility I'll inject into this discussion Smile
