Thanks again Pete and all your helpers for a great weekend. It was great to reconnect and meet some new people too.
The food this year was more delicious than I had remembered, compliments to both cooks! Although I missed the good old
pop-up tent trailer, the tent you lent me was really nice and well ventilated.
To my opponents; thank you for putting up with my frequent mess-ups and roster confusions. All 6 of my matches had some
mind melting moments and even my war dancer and catcher didn't make any win an easy one. Good games all round.

Thanks Pete & Tammy, as always Great times & great food, hospitality !
Looks like the WEST is Best, good things come to those that wait, & I have waited long enough to the east's bragging rants. (mind you this year i just missed playing for the East "Phew"  )
Game 1:lost 3-1 (casualties lost 4-2)
Vs Leathan & his Wood Elves , my Orcs lost 3-1 & was out casualtied 4-2. Great game just strange when Orcs are beaten up by Wood Elves.
Game 2: won 3-0 (casualties won 3-0)
Vs Stephanie & her Amazons, the 1st half looked like a ballroom dance with all the "PUSH" results, but the 2nd half her luck dropeed &mine went up. A great opponent & a fun game.
Game 3: Lost 2-1 (casualties won 1-0)
Vs Colin & his Rats , very good game & I stalled for the 1-1 tie, but on turn 16 I gave him everything he needed to win, grrrr good game bud lol
Game 4: Won 3-0 (casualties won 4-1)
Vs Pete & a Human team that belonged to someone ...(not sure I understand  )
My Orcs seemed to be on a mission to dominate this game from start to end.
Game 5: Won 2-1 (casualties won 3-1)
Vs Mark H & his Slann, what a great game back & forth the ball changed hands many times , but by turn 13 or 14 my Orcs finally decided to start killing frogs & Mark's fate was set.
Game 6: Won 2-1 (casualties tied 1-1)
Vs Ryan & his Undead
Another ballroom dance game , but a great opponent & although at times a very dull game, it was still fun. |

From memory....
- The West won the tournament
- Matt (delevus) was the MVP for best individual record (I know Glen won second or third place but I can't remember who won the other podium finish)
- Laurent won most touchdowns. Hourah pour l'Admiral de l'Ouest!
- Alex (Stimme) won most casualties
- Greg Shelton won the "Gentleman" award
- Tom (DarkOrk20) earned the "Jackass" award
- Glen won the Da Vinci award (best painted/modeled team)
- Grant received the Paper Bag award for least casualties (zero!)
- Pat LaForge received the Broken Fence award for worst defense (I forget if that is most touchdowns against or worst touchdown differential)
- Pat LaForge received the Wheelbarrow award for worst win/loss record
- Stephanie received the slow poke award for least touchdowns scored
- I believe Sol won the best defense award
- I remember that Dave and Colin R. received awards but can't remember which ones but I'm certain one of the awards was the Glass Jaw (worst casualty differential) and I think the other award was the award for best casualty differential.
That's what my memory can provide... I'm sure Rod will correct anything I got wrong/incomplete. |

Ezzard was on your team Wapcaplets. And there were 16 a side, thats probably where you are getting messed up. Althought I didn't play him, so not positive what race he brought.
And Gord was Chaos, but the rest seems correct. |

Thanks to Pete and Tammy for another fun tournament with awesome food, friends and general merriment. Thanks to my opponents for some memorable and enjoying games, even Rummery. Got to play alot of new people for the first time, and was glad to see alot of new faces at the tournament in general. Large number of coaches this year, awesome job. Hopefully we can recreate it next year.
