Hey Brian,
Just reading through the tourney rulebook and noticing that you are talking about the "best painted team". Are you going with this after all, or are you going with the "Best Team" idea like I did at the Q'ermitt? Last you said on the forums you were going to do a Best Team and a Best Halfling Team, but you never told me what you are going to do when I win BOTH of those awards!

It has taken 3 months but my `flings are 1 day away from being complete [in theory]. I remember why I hate painting minis, though it is satisfying in a sense when you put away the paint for another 3 years before attempting a new project.
I know there ar no `flings in the photo, the batteries dies after one shot
One thing that confoundedme when I was painting was: Why does the tree man have a belly button? |

Dude,
That's no belly button! That's a female treeman! (treewoman?)
Man, we gotta get you out to those Montreal clubs! |

Woo hoo! All the halflings are done! (What a relief!)
One of the treemen is done,a nd the other one will be by this time tomorrow.
Will take some pics of them on their home pitch and post it in the "converted" section tomorrow.

It's a warm and fuzzy feeling to know that I'm not the only one who's running around trying to finish things before the tourney. |

Checkin' out the Deathbowl site and see that there are 32 teams up there. Unfortunately, I know that there are at least two that won't be coming: Paul Connors (Barrett's Privateers) and Dan Campbell (Recently Harvested). That would put the numbers down to 30.
Of those 30, we have (from what I can tell) the following breakdown:
Orcs: 3 teams
Halflings: 5 teams
Dwarves: 4 teams
Skaven: 3 teams
Vampires: 1 team
Khemri: 1 team
Amazons: 1 team
Humans: 1 team
Unknown (no team or logo to indicate*): 11 teams
*to be honest, one of the logos was kind of elfie, but I wasn't sure which flavour of elf it was!
Brian, you have to get on the cases of these people who are not putting their teams in! You have a great tool here, and people should be rewarding your efforts by giving what you need to make this tourney run smoother!
All in all everything is looking great Brian! Almost time!

Dan Campbell isn't attending either?
I won't be playing either so that's 29. If we get an odd number my odd man out will sit out. Hopefully some of SBG's crew will be attending to fill up the seats.
It's hard to believe we're just 4 days away!

Thanks Craig. I'm crossing my fingers that all goes well with the website. I'm totally pumped about the fact that we have 5 Halfling teams signed up. That's just too cool! I wonder if that's the most halfling teams any tournament has ever had. |

Well if 5 is not a record, then it has to be pretty darn close!
As for Dan, yeah, he had to back out. But he hopes to come next year for sure. |

Brian,
New task for you! See if you can find a place where we can check out the UFC fight night! It is on Saturday night and I would love to see it. Do you know of a bar or some place that will be showing it? |
