Yes the Southern Ontario Boyz took home many prizes!!!

Congrats Peter, Next year will be tough for you to defend it from all of us!

Way to go to Cam for sweeping all the Halfing Prizes!

Craig won his best team award for his awsome Killer Bees!

Eric & his first ever Death-Bowl takes the Spoon (I look forward to you handing it off to somebody next year!)

Niagara Falls went home with most TD's Talons' Crookback Mountain Cowboys with a total of 12! While Clan-Skaven's (myself) Warthogs won most Casualties with 13, (despite being in a 5 way tie with 13 Cas. Lucky for me to win tiebreaker with the fewest Cas against, with 2!)

Well The Montreal control of the Death-Bowl prizes finally came to a hault with the Southern Ontario Boys taking home many prizes!

I want to thank Brian for putting on another awsome Tourney! The Death-Bowl is by far the best BB tourney to attend in my opinion!

Thanks to Brian's wife for again putting up with all of us fanatics!

Thanks to Brian's pal Brian for once again handing out water at the tourney, (small ways to make the tourney awsome)

Almost forgot, thankyou Eric for driving us lads to & back from Montreal, (& dooin our dice!)

Thankyou Spazz for letting Rob & I crash at your house Sunday Night.

Thanks to Talons & Spazz for assisting me in my lack of $$$ for the weekend!!!

It was an exciting & a frustrating time for the Warthogs (mostly the final round), but none the less I had a great time! Thanks to all my opponents for a blast!

Now I'm just not sure what to bring to DBV (Orcs or Skaven)

Rod.

Congratulations to everyone for a superb tournament, and excellent company from the first game till the last!

I'd like to thank Brian for his dedication, hardwork, and overachievement YEAR AFTER YEAR! It's one thing to host a great tournament, but quite another to bring it four years in a row. The game would not be what it today on this continent without your massive contribution. A tip of my hat to you, my friend!

Thats enough serious stuff...

'Tis true, Southern Ontario and the TBBF brought home the majority of the hardware this year. We got the monkey off out backs finally (we heard "Almost!" and "Oh so close!" far too often in years gone by) with a championship won by Peter Meers. And he didn't have to lie, cheat, or connive to do it, it was all hard work. Well done, Pete!

Myself, I couldn't say no to The Year of the Halfling. I've played them before in a different edition, and access to Deeproot sealed the deal. Fear him or worship him, hes the man... er.. tree. I surprised many, including myself, how well I did with 2 wins and 3 losses (all by 1 TD, some in overtime!). I was then blown away during my Deathbowl game, with my treemen dominating the center of the Deathbowl pitch, and my halfling hit squads ability for defense and successful fouls! I won with a tossed Halfer!

Thanks to all I played against for the company and the laughs! It was great to see all the old faces again, and meet plenty of new ones as well!

The queue for the Half Pint Hellions Fan Club starts on the left! Laughing

Cam

I based it on the fact that the sportmanship system seemed to have stumbled a bit and in the end only 2 people voted for me (myself and Spazz). And the fact that no one clapped . . . Crying or Very sad But whatever, I am the most sporting B*tch!

Here are more photos:

As for the signature I had to go with a photo style as the board would not allow more than 256 characters Mad As an added touch I also included the number of skulls I got in the Skulls game.

So was that you who nominated yourself? I heard someone nominate you, but did not recognize who it was! Laughing

But fact of matter man is that you got smoked in that tourney. You took some pretty heavy beatings and were always able to laugh about it. Not only that, but you kept a lively atmosphere about the place - very enteratining to watch! Definitely the qualities of a good sport IMO.

Don't knock yourself! You were totally gangster B! Laughing

I have a plea for help from Glen (twodiceblock) Jones.

He has lost one of his Dwarf blitzers, converted from warhammer dwarves, with a winged helmet. He had it in his deathbowl match so he is hoping someone picked it up in the post game confusion rather than it ending up lost in the trash.

If anyone can help please let me know, particular requests go out to Ben and Manuel who were on the same deathbowl table to check if they picked it up by mistake.

Glen is pretty bummed about this as he lost a dwarf at qermitt too.

cheers

Joe

thanks Ben!

Good to see Dwarf Giant solidarity Laughing

I meant to ask, do you have a date yet for the canadian open?

Should we start a 2007 tournament calendar thread?

It will be either the last weekend in February or the first weekend in March.

I was mentioning to Glen if you guys could have it in the first week pf February that would be great so there could be a bit of a break in between tournies.

Ben

It is true I got smoked more then meat from Montreal Razz Well having a win record of 3 in the TBBF and ~6 in tournies I have to laugh to hide the pain.
