Just had a thought (what with Leviathan this weekend and all) that we might like to nominate now which team we each are thinking of taking (seeing as each coach has to take a different race). This would then allow those who would like to (or need to like me ) to take that team to the various cons over the next year, or otherwise get practice in with them.
oz has seemed to indicate he intends to take high elves. I'm thinking I should probably take my Pro Elves as the team I've had the most tournament (ie LRB4) experience with, not to mention being about the only team I have that is up to scratch appearance wise (IMO of course). So which team do the rest of you think you'd like to take? |

Thats a good idea Dave. I'm pretty flexible when it comes to what team I play, so I'll probably leave mine to fill in later on. I dare say Humans would be my first preference though. |

Is there going to be a restriction on one instance of a race per team? In that case I'm happy with 'zons, Orcs, High Elves or gobbos.
We also should have a team name... all aussie teams are named after Australian animals (or plants). How about the BlueBottles?
Also it might we worth asking Neil about some sort of sponsorship. Maybe he's pay of "Team Australia, sponsored by Shadowforge" T Shirts or something. |

I'm perfectly happy playing 'zons and I reckon I'll do just as well with them. Part of me really wants to play gobbos, but unless there is some rule about each team having to have one stunty team then its probably not going to help our overall results. |

sup all,
I'd actually be interested in the tourney.
Unfortunately I dont know exactly what's going on at this stage, but the plan is that I'll be studing in France from sept this year to jul next year, so It'd be a train ride away!
And oz has the right idea - I'd DEFINITELY paint my team in aussie colours... excitement plus eh?

Do you know where in France? There are several really good french tournies (Rendez-Vous in early July, Lutuce earlier in the year) plus lots in the UK plus Netherlands & Germany... (we need an envy icon) |

Spain & Italy both have fairly active tournament circuits too. You really should try and get yourself to the 2007 Blood Bowl. Just the experience of being at a 200 coach tournament (in Warhammer World) is well worth it. Anyway, all that travel costs money so you better start saving immediately after Euc Bowl |

Alas, I regret to inform everyone that I won't be able to make it for the Blood Bowl World Cup as I have had a change in my plans. I hope you don't have any trouble finding a replacement for me on the team. |

Would all Kiwi coaches interested in going to the world cup please let me know?
I want to know numbers as soon as possible, in order to judge whether a Team Kiwi is likely to happen, or whether we would need (potentially) to amalgamate with Team Oz or its remnant (if not Team Anzac, then at least Team Norfolk Island).
Dear Oz, what are your views on such a potential amalgamation?
Please let me know ASAP by replyihg to this post.
All the best
