Yes to have Paul's Skaven fall below my Skaven in rankings! HOOOOYA!

Rod.

I think everyone was NAF, cause Cyber required them to register to play.

I played a guy who wasn't registered to NAF, a dwarf coach. Rolling Eyes

Still, its no fun playing when you're down 6 guys in every game Sad

6 every game is harsh. But I was down 6 casualties against Ken and had a blast, he was fighting hard to get the tie. In a stunning upset my Amazons took the ball away from his Chaos Dwarves on the first drive and scored on turn 3, then held them off for 5 turns on defese -- it was 1-0 at the end of the half Shocked He was getting all the casualty rolls and I was getting all the dodging into 2 TZs and passing the ball out of them rolls. Quite a moral victory. Very Happy

My dice karma caught up with me in the next and final game though against Jeremy's orcs. He intercepted my pass in the first drive and got 3 casualties on his way to the first goal. And the apo roll failed. Never got enough momentum back after that. Crying or Very sad

My first game against Peter's Necro was a 2-1 loss that could have gone either way. Quite a close match and fun. Cool

Stomped Kent's Skaven in round 2. I've played Skaven enough to know what to do against them Twisted Evil

But then got stomped by Cam's Lizards. Only played against Lizards once before with Skaven, and still haven't figured out how to crack a solid formation of Sauri with a lightweight team. Confused

Altogether, had a great time. Thanks Brian & everyone!

Cheers,
Mo

Didn't you play a game against me when you knocked out all but 3 players? I have no pity... Very Happy

I am TRULY sorry for not being able to go to this tourney. At least I would not have been the *worst* player there! hee, hee!

Anyway, I was literally bed-ridden from Friday to Sunday -- I would have been too sick to go anyway. (Paul: I got my new tires today! Now I can drive!)

Apologies to BB_Babe for the harsh beating my orcs administered. I had built up a lot of dice karma heading into that game (2 failed GFIs for turn 8 TDs in two games for starters) that was vented on her poor zons. She took the beatings in great spirits though (probably still aglow from the thrashing she gave Ken!).

We woulda drafted you for a Mafia proxy if you made it, Garth! We ll catch you in Boston instead if ya can t make the long drive to the Phrakus.

Good tourney.

The games I lost/tied could have been draws/wins on a 4+ pick-up or handoff roll on the final turn.

The one exception is my game vs Undead where I got a quick snap to start the game, put my Blitz-Ra under the ball, caught it, and then rolled block/skull followed by skull/skull... Not a good way to start the game. In fact, skull/skull then skull/skull happened again later that half, and gave my opponent a comfortable 2-0 lead.

I rolled tripple skulls FOUR times over the weekend. Plus, my armor rolls were less than productive.

How did Paul avoid the spoon? he was 0-5

the guy who won the spoon won 1 since he beat a DC guy in the first round...... Shocked

Hey,

I am 'the guy' who got the spoon. I was quite impressed myself as I had a 1W-1T-3L record, which was better than TWO other coaches on my team (and who knows who else). But I got a free Vampire out of it Smile I would be tempted to say that there is something wrong with the scoring system but I don't run tourneys so I wouldn't know. I didn't get many bonus points, especially as there was no way wood elves were going to get 'smackdown' Rolling Eyes bonuses.

Thanks to Brian for running the event, Fat Cats for hosting, and to all the coaches who kept killing my elves.

Blodge? You can't blodge a POW Shocked

Brainstorming... 1 W=50, 1 T=30, 3 losses=60, for a grand total of 140.
5 Keeping it close losses= 150, and maybe a few smackdown bonuses... Then theres sportsmanship points, that seem random...

Who knows. Who cares?

PA rocks, they stock Crown Royal! Wink
