So would you alter the Deathbowl round so that the person opposite you would be the person you would have faced were it not a Deathbowl round? (As oppose to the current system where the person opposite you is luck of the draw).
Yeah I would. Makes NAF ranking the deathbowl round more reasonable.
Winner still takes the deathbowl, no matter how much I would prefer it to be the person with the most points at the end
Also, it will add a bit more to the game too. Only played one deathbowl, but if you know you are playing against the guy opposite for rankings I don't see many situations where someone will allow a score (assuming they are a NAF ranked player). |

Glen hates it too, he doesn't call it deathbowl he calls it "Alliance Bowl" |

Yes then, the rules do stipulate 1st vs. 3rd, and 2nd vs. 4th. So that means that I lose to the Flings.
Joe, we will have to redo our table then. We will need the CAS info, as you say.
For the next DB, I think that 1st vs. 4th and 2nd vs. 3rd makes more sense than what is there now. Using opponents facing each-other could work too, and would make figuring-out opponents for rankings much easier.

wow must have missed this whe i was posting, yes yes marc-andre. I agree.
almost done the data entry now just 2 tables not certain of in deathbowl.

No I didn't. I know that Scared Hitless and Killer Bees got mushed as they were both halflings - can't remember if we caused any.
Thought that that didn't matter though, as there was no tie-breaker to figure out. |

Except Scared hitless and the skylights both failed to score so we need to know the cas to determine finishing positions. I have 'assumed' that the halflings got less cas than the chaos.... both get a loss but the oponent its against for NAF ranking is at question. |

That is a pretty safe bet. I know that Eric and i had plenty of bodies in our CAS boxes. I don't think that the chaos guy got scratched (because once I scored the chaos and necro allied against the two halfling teams - what a hoot!) So go for it, I'm sure Eric is not overly concerned about his rating with halflings anyways! |

Hey Joe you have me playing yourself twice. My last game just before Death Bowl was against Dany Lebire with Necro`s and I beat him 2-1. With CAS 2-2 for the game.
Thanks

Wow I'm sincerily impressed by the initative guys. Makes me happy to know the tourney is in good hands. I've passed along all the DB round results to Joe as per his request. If there's any more missing data just send me a PM. |

It is unfair that the last place team gets a tie and the 3rd place team gets beat! But thems the rules for DBIV.
So its more important now to find out the missing casualties.
If it makes it easier to take, the only touchdown WAS scored on Hutta Harda. But then, not much you can do when a tree throws a halfer out of the mob at center field. |

LOL! I remember that! It was just as hard for the tree to hand it off to a halfer! Another round of scattering for the ball... |
