I won't wrecking my minis this way
only reason i said rings painted, is cause some people show up with all unpainted modles that all look the same or similar (even if numbered, it can be confusing for your opponents, the GW Amazon team for example) |

I have seen people show up to a tourney with no modles nevermind unpainted. |

Sarcasm? or has this actually happened? I remember a playing board showing up without a person (something to do with a missing passport at an airport) lol |

No, my ogres that I worked so hard on made it to the Deathbowl Year of the Ogre. Wanted them to be represented, but that was the year I was selling the house in Brampton. |

So just to be clear, you are saying that a tourney held at the Dueling Grounds would be likely to get a lot of the new TBBfers out. What about if it was held at Xplanet in Mississauga?
I am just trying to figure out the #ofplayers vs convenience balance.
How many players do you figure would attend in either location? |

Spazz, I wouldn't go any further than Toronto. I have considered some of the other tourneys up there but further than Toronto and I am stretching my weekend trip. A tourney a little closer to Detriot would be great. Detroit is only about 3ish hours away. Do we know anyone in Windsor?
Just my .02 but remember, I am planning on coming to the Challenge this year. |

There was the one guy from Windsor at the Canadian Open last year. Catstacker is his NAF handle.
Have to start leaning on him to start a tourney, eh? |

The convention that I was going to hold my first BB tournament at this year fell through (over artistic differences ,) but fortunately so did my vacation plans for March, so I can make it to the Canadian Open! I know to bring beer this time, and maybe I'll win more games than just against Eric. |

You know that beating Eric doesn't count, don't you? In fact, if you are playing Eric it means that you are competing for the spoon and not for placement. |

Funny thing Eric has beaten me in a tourney in the 1st round & he still manages to win the spoon! (poor Eric) |

At first I thought that Eric was deliberately letting me win because it was my first tournament, but I couldn't figure out how he was switching his loaded dice with mine so that we were both rolling so horribly. |
