What will it take to get people to pay early? I thought a $10 discount would be incentive enough...... |

yeah I have no idea either.
However, the payments I have recieved/been promised have helped me cover the rental price so I am still pleased
We are all booked in for sure at the Montgomery Legion
http://maps.google.com/maps?q=montgomery+legion,+ottawa&ie=UTF8&ll=45.414449,-75.696788&spn=0.005445,0.009613&t=h&z=17
We are in the downstairs room, same place as the CCKO '08
Those who came to the CCKO know there is a bar upstairs that serves all day, and people who come to the tournament are welcome to go and enjoy the sat entertainment the legion has on in the evening (no idea what it is yet).
should be ace. |

Alright ladies! I gots the team worked out and am organizing the bits together to assemble the team!
My performance at the tourney will be so dominating that after the Deathbowl weekend GW will be forced to introduce Spazzfist as a Fifth god of Chaos! |

Why would you want to be called the Filth god of Chaos? But hey, if that's what you want, sure.
Looking forward to seeing your team. But it won't stop be from running around you and scoring, over, and over, and over again. |

Oh Cramy.....
Check your glasses there buddy- it is "fifth" like un deux trois quatre cinq....
The only "filth my team will have is a thick matte of blood and gore after annhiliating yours and every other team that dares to oppose them on the Deathbowl pitch! Not only will yo not be scoring on me, but it will be hard to run around me when you do not have any legs! |

I was at the Burlignton Ribfest today and found whnat is probably going ot be the new "Spoon" for the Deathbowl. Glenn asked me to pick it up for him (Damn! I should start charging a finders fee for the Ottawa trophies! )

Nice "Spoon" «add the obligatory Yo' Momma joke here». I look foward to "winning" it.
BTW, since JTB is is out of town for awhile can someone send me the rules so I can update the webpage. Thanx.
EDIT: Forget the call for the rules, I found them. Apparently Norton has something against the Brits |

My understanding is that the rings are not mandatory, but if there is any chance of positional confusion in your team, PLEASE, PLEASE put rings on them. Or coloured dots on each side of the base. DeathBowl is confusing enough, coaches don't need to have to try to figure-out what player is what on the pitch. With the time limit rule, nobody will appreciate spending some of their precious time trying to figure things out.
Some example teams that will greatly benefit from base rings.
GW Elf, GW Amazon, and some custom teams. If you have a custom team and it is not easy to differenciate positionals, please put base rings.
But Joe's the boss, so we'll see if he has anything to correct or add.
Dan, I don't remember what your Khemri positionals are easy to differentiate, but if your Thro-Ras, Blitz-Ras and Skeletons are very easy to differntiate, then all is good. |
