A tourney a little closer to Detriot would be great. Detroit is only about 3ish hours away. Do we know anyone in Windsor?
Just my .02 but remember, I am planning on coming to the Challenge this year.
If you guys do it in Windsor, i'll guarantee you a location, and I could acually make it since it'll be close
I would just need approximate attendance numbers. I should be able to pull off the location for free.
And, if it's in Windsor, we"ll be able to pull in some of the Zlurpee forum guys. There are at least 4 or 5 from the Detroit area that would make it to Windsor.
We'd likely got some guys from Kzoo, Toledo and the Chicago area if it was that close too. |

Spazzfist wrote: So just to be clear, you are saying that a tourney held at the Dueling Grounds would be likely to get a lot of the new TBBfers out. What about if it was held at Xplanet in Mississauga?
I am just trying to figure out the #ofplayers vs convenience balance.
How many players do you figure would attend in either location?
I have no idea, but we have about 8 - 10 regular players for league play. If it was in Mississauga I am sure we'd still have a few come out. |

Ladies & Gents,
A location has been found, though that means switching the date to March 12 & 13th. I saw little opposition to this over this weekend @ the CCKO and I hope it does not inconvinience to many people.
More info to follow. |

So I'm just "little opposition" now huh! and it does inconvenience me, what's a matter for you!! Just bugging you Eric, although it means I might not make it I completely understand your reasoning for doing it. Will have to see if I can swing it. |

It looks like I may not be able to make it now. My wife works one weekend a month, and it happens to be that weekend. I am stil hoping I can find someone to watch him on Saturday, but I have no idea. |

Hey Eric, unfortunately this will be my first Canadian Open since you started it back up that I won't be able to make it to. I know we spoke about it when you were down for the CCKO but with the date changing there is no way I can swing it bro. Too bad, was really looking forward to it. Hope to make it to the CoQ in April and will see you then. Good luck to everyone involved and have an awesome time. |

Glad to hear that you'll be making the trek, Rod. Looks like I might be the only Ottawan making it this time around. I will most likely be arriving on Saturday morning with Mr. Meers. |
