Boston has 4 players each with 70-95% liklihood of being able to attend that weekend:
Dan Anderson - Uthrac
Shane Yeager - Shane
Erick Guerra -
myself
If we don't round up another Beantowner, we could offer a seat to a stray dog. First dibs to anyone who's attended ArisiaBowl or the Beantown Brouhaha |

Right now we have 8 very interested bodies from the AGBBL. We may eb able to muster up some more. We could fill holes or perhaps bring an A and a B side if we have a team that backs out.
You know Harrisburg is the mecca of East Coast BloodBowl. |

We're only limited by space available. Correct me if I'm wrong Jay but I believe you said we had space for 30 people? If we want to go bigger we'll need a different venue.
I think for the moment though it's good that we're getting a lot of interest but experience tells me that doesn't always translate into butts in the seats. Making the event bigger should be kept open as an option and it would be fantastic to have a bigger event. But until we have a need for the space that's very much confirmed we should probably proceed as planned. We could always share chairs at the current location |

Jay will need to confirm this absolutely, but I think that this tourney is being held at Fat Cat Comics. I believe that the space can accomodtae more than 30, but it really depends more on how much space has been allocated by Mr Fat Cat. Again...Jay is the one who has been working with the guy, so he will be able to give you a more definative answer.

P.S. I also have a couple guys from nearby that might be interested if there were room for 8 teams. Is there a way we can plan for the 6 that look like a lock, and leave room for growth if enough people show? |

I have a question for Brian! Aren't you playing? If so, are you bringing Montrealers with you to form a team, or are we making a Team Canada instead of a Team Toronto? |

I'll play if a team has an open spot. If not I'll just be running the event.
Now that the cats out of the bag about the World Cup I can tell you all that this is the only practice we'll get here in North America for a team event before the World Cup. It's not just practice for the coaches, it's practice for me as well. I'm going to be running this event through the World Cup website to work out the bugs. I'm going to be paying close attention to all the details to see what the problems are and what works. So in the end if I don't play I won't be heart broken. I am looking for people who want to split a ride and a room though. How are you TO guy's getting down there? |

While Fat Cat Comics has room for more people, I've only asked them from Room for 30.
I'll give them a call today to talk about more space. They said they were expanding their gaming area from last year so they may actually be able to give us the space.
I'll let you know. |

We're looking at renting a van and splitting the costs. We've gotta work out the details but thats the general plan for now.
We're also trying to find another TBBF guy to make it a full Team TBBF. |

I've had no luck putting a team together. Still trying, but if anyone has a team you are welcome to step forward. I should know definitely in the next two weeks. |

Please never mind my previous post with the quote of a previous message. My 3 year old was checking boxes on the computer as I was typing and I didn't see it.
Also, boy I hope my Blue NAF dice arrive sometime, it would be nice to have them for this tourney. |
