Eheh that's great
Never seen a Morg so... er... careless? (I mean, _spensierato_, err, hakuna matata?) |

Sorry, but he looks like a ponce in that pose. You should have done something with the arm sticking up in the air, he looks like he's prancing through the daisies. Still, good job. |

Yep, he seems slightly carefree in that picture... He would suit to be a fantasy football player or a BB Ogre kicker, though.
As a suggestion, I think the major problem is the head and the right arm. The fact that he's looking to his left makes him look so afloat. He should be looking more to the direction he's going to, IMO, to look more aggressive and determined. Also, the "open arms" -feeling could be negated by making his right arm more threatening to the forward direction. It could be bent to point the stabber-thingy straight ahead? But still, I'd say that turning the head would be the nr.1 issue and would make the figure a lot better. |

Oh, and one more thing: his right leg! His knee has a large (>90degrees) angle, which is not very aggressive in the sense that he doesn't seem like he's about to use the leg for forward leverage. A small (<90 degrees) angle would imply that he's now using his leg to push forward. Currently he has a "crossing the end line"-feeling in his legs. |

I'm in the elf camp. If he was kicking something he would be looking down or ahead not off to the left. As far as the execution goes, it looks like a very good, clean job at modifying the miniature, although we can't see how clean the conversion is on the reverse angle. |

This is what i did with Morg.
OGRE
[/url]
Wanted to give Morg a meaner look, and do what i could to move that stupid arm. In the end i whacked off the arm and rebuild the whole thing (well i saved the fist) with green stuff, had to extend the pad a tiny little bit to bring it all in line.
Its not as clean as yours but does make him look meaner |

I don't know about mean. That broad, fairly expressionless face looks rather placid to me; and that eyebrow line gives him a slightly worried air.
It's like he's seen a spider, which might be moving towards him, and he's wondering if there's a handy stool nearby for him to stand on and scream like a girl. |

I like that face, it looks like someone who would hit you to the ground and sit on you until you choke. While he'd be chewing on your leg... |
