Hey all--as the subject states, I rolled double twos for one of my Chaos Warriors in our league. This is the first time I've played Chaos, and I would appreciate any advice as to what I should take. My team currently consists of four Chaos Warriors and nine Beastmen. One of my beastmen has Big Hand and an agility increase; two of my other Beastmen (ironically, the only two with injuries) have Piling On.
I was thinking about giving my Chaos Warrior Long Legs or Spikes...leaning more towards Long Legs. (If I had just gotten a New Skill roll, I'd have gone for Block...but I can't see wasting a doubles roll on that.)
Anyone have any advice for me?

Claw would be very tempting to me, but Dodge deserves some consideration as well. If you're planning on getting a big guy in the future, Leader is also a valuable skill to have. |

I am currently saving up for a Minotaur....I can see how Leader would be quite useful as well. However, I currenty have dreams of a "Movement 6; going to get block on next advance" Blitzing Chaos Warrior.
Decisions, decisions....

Yikes! Avoid VLL on a Chaos Warrior. You're not going to make the guy a speed demon no matter what you do.
Dodge is always good because you now have an agile heavy hitter who can get where he needs to go with much less risk. It's also not something your opponent will expect!
Claw is the obvious choice, however. Stand Firm would not be bad, either, as another doubles roll could mean Tentacles. Manage to give him a third and fourth skill, Block and Tackle, and you have someone who is going to pin whoever you want. |

With Chaos, you almost always want to be blitzing with the Beastmen because those horns make you just as effective as the warriors. Otherwise, you've spent too much on a regular lineman. |

Take Spikes, followed by Block on a normal roll.
Stick him on the LOS and leave the blitzing to the horny guys |

If you're getting a Minotaur, probably Leader.
It's hard to pass up on Dodge to increase his survivability, but I guess that depends on how much Tackle pervades your league...
If you want a hitter, Claw or RSClaws. |

Razor Sharp Fangs, followed by Piling On. +4 vs Av, +2 Inj. Then the casualties roll in.
Spikes isn't that useful if you've already got decent armour, while VLL is a complete waste. |

Alot of good ideas there! Well you have convinced me to give Very Long Legs a miss. I'm really leaning towards armour just to hedge my bets on survivability. My team has two rerolls already, I may buy a third one before I buy a minotaur. I would have to say my second choice is razor sharp claws as I have very little trouble beating armour values, but injuries are few and far between. |

Having AV 10 is nice but not that big of a jump from AV 9 in my experience....I'd take Claw or maybe even Tentacles... |

The difference between Av 10 & Av 9 is 1/12 less armour breaks. That isn't very much. With S4 too, your CWs should not be worried about injuries. |

This is definitely the Power Gamers choice, and if you want to maximise your success you go for this. |
