In the Great White North there comes a time one a year when the strongest of warriors of the land and beyond are drawn to a remote northern town. This pilgrimage has gone on for centuries and has always resulted in two days of mass open combat between the pilgrims; much to the chagrin of the town's people. The climax of this spectacle occurred on the second day when a pillar of light shown upon a single combatant who would than be hailed as the Champion. And as quickly as the light appeared from the heavens it returned and the pilgrims dispersed to return to their own lands. The locals gave a name to this event, Chinook.
Many of the great sages pondered the purpose of this yearly event and more importantly which God ruled over it. The combat lent itself to be attributed to the Gods of War, the random nature and destruction was said to be the work of the Gods of Chaos, and the correlations continued for years. One thing that has been agreed upon was that at some point Nuffle gained control once it was observed that the massed combat was slowly transmuting into something that resembled an organized game of Blood Bowl.
Now a half century later, there is no denying that Nuffle is behind this yearly pilgrimage as established Blood Bowl teams have replaced the warriors. With this turn of events the locals say an opportunity to cash in on this yearly influx of Blood Bowlers and set forth to establish what is now commonly known as the Canadian Open.

The Canadian Open is returning for another year. The rules will be the same as last year but the date and location are still a little tentative at this point. Hopefully I can get both of these nailed down ASAP.

First to register for this year!
BTW, You might want to clear the registry from last year.
Do you want me to talk to Jen and see if we can book the place we had last year? I can try to sweet talk her, you know how much she loves me! |

Oh, I guess I forgot to mention the site has not been updated yet . . .
Thanks for the offer but that would be an assured NO. And do not fear Spazz, u will retain the top spot when I get a chance to do the updates. |

For the top spot, not only will I retain, but I will maintain as my winning streak will be like a steam train. From losing I will refrain, my champion status I will sustain.

Teaching poetry at school? Did one of the kids who drool write this for you in their pool? You probably think you're so cool writing lyrics on a stool.

I shouldn't have read this while my class was working quietly. I laughed out loud and disrupted the beautiful and productive silence! |

Sorry about that, I have been having some issues with attacks on one of the pages which has been driving me nuts; so I removed everything and am slowly re-uploading everything [in order of priority] in hopes of finding the source. The the CO web-page should be up again and running soon. |

<Gasp> Anthony?? Are you actually coming out of retirement for this one? Hopefully if you come, then you can bring out some of the TBBF alumni that have also been dormant! |
