Rules update:
We have added "The Right Stuff" award for the team with the 0-16 player slot having the Right Stuff skill.

You heard right
Blood Bowl in Las Vegas
2012 West Coast Quake
March 17th-18th (St Patty's Day)

REGISTER TODAY

Location:
Alexis Park All Suites Resort Las Vegas
375 East Harmon Avenue
Las Vegas, NV 89169
(702) 796-3322

March 17th-18th 2012

Large rooms for $79

NO FOOD, DRINKS, or SMOKING in the Event hall (but you can step right outside ...) (I think they might have a water service)

You can find all this and more at www.wcquake.com (soon as I update Very Happy )
On Site rules, kickoff table, swag excreta needs to be updated for 2012, This trumps the site for now

Starting capacity 45 coaches with room for another 60 (if we get more than 105 I will find room)

Fee: $40 (sorry for the increase but we have to pay a venue)

Rules:
1) Foul is a normal player action
Twisted Evil

2) Have fun and foul

3) Do not bring (will be provided):
    Board
    Range Ruler
    Side Out Template
    Normal Dice (d6,d8,d16)
    Dugout
Non NAF Blocking dice (YOU MUST BRING NAF BLOCKING DICE) Memberships and renewals available (I will have NAF blocking dice for the $10 fee)(goes to NAF)
    Kickoff Table (will be custom)
Rules (Ask the rules lawyer in the ref shirt, then ask someone who knows)

4) You will need:

Your team (PLAYERS MUST BE NUMBERED ON THE BASE (prefer front and back) to avoid confusion, it is hard for us old people to read a little number on a shoulder pad)(you can always paint over them after the event)
    NAF Blocking Dice
3 Copies of your Team (I will set up a tracker for you to enter your team so we can link them on WCQuake and if I remember, bring my printer for you to print it out)

5) Rules not used:
    Illegal Procedure
    Special Play Cards, Wizards, Igor

6) Rules used:
IF NEEDED 4 minute timer (Games should be allotted for 2.5 hours (work in progress)
    CRP (from GW site)
    Custom Kickoff Table
PERFECT BLOOD WEATHER! (What are we gonna use freakin hot and on the surface of the sun?) (On the surface of the sun: before each player action roll a d6, if you roll a one he is incinerated?)
Skill Set (TBD: but probably standard)
Scoring is in discussion (ELO?, Standard?, Freaky?, Bizarre?)
You will be required to assist (if needed) entering your games in the computer on the tracker. (you can do this from any computer (including smart phones).

Other Stuff:
Painting and Sportsmanship winners will be based on 2 things. Staff choice + a player committee.
Prizes: You should know by now that we give away some Awesome stuff and some lame stuff. I hope to have pictures up BEFORE the event this time. We do award a bunch of stuff.

I will have things like the time table ect as I get them from various sources (or I will just make them up)

We have the cast of the 2012 West Coast Quake ZElvis figure. This model is rare an limited to a run of only 100 models. The Players that attend the 2012 West Coast Quake in Las Vegas March 17th & 18th will receive one as part of their registration. I am working with my cohorts to allow me to send those preregistered figures out so they may paint him up and use him in the game (at no extra cost to the roster) (I am working on it nothing is cast in stone)
Your best bet is to go ahead and register now and get that part out of the way.

Graet Job!! BTW, what resin do you use? The stuff I have used in the passed does not take paint very well, so I switched to very hard plaster. Also, I hope you do not mind if I steal this idea for my tourney? Very Happy

MAN I'm going to be on March 14 and 15th at Bailey's for the GAMA Trade Show trying to drum up some vendors for Impact!

I tried to convince my business partner that I needed to stay the weekend of the Quake for business reasons but he wasn't buying it and since my wife is coming with me to help run the booth ... trying to convince her to stay in Vegas for 3 extra days but me to not be with her for 2 of them was another impossible sell for me. As I get on the plane at noon on the 16th I'll be wishing I was throwing down with you guys.
