As a quick follow up...
...with the NAF Prez election over, we now have new people running large events taking them to the next level. I love that, and it is really only that which keeps the BB Community alive!
On a related note, I would like to find the right person in the USA to help me transfer the lead on Chaos Cup to after this year. I would work with them this year training and mentoring, then in 2015 they will be the man (or woman!) This person would be the new main contact leading up to the event, registration, rosters, as well as the top dog running the event the day of. The great thing about running Chaos Cup however is a team of fanatics ready to help you out! So anyone wishing to be my padawan will still have Jedi Masters Valdric & Xtreme helping out... as well as me! I still want to run the website as there is just too much valuable data with pics and stats, etc to let it go without a fight. Plus I'm always willing to consult with this person to help them out if they have questions.
Event for this year is already booked at Holiday Inn Palatine again. I'd prefer to see Chaos Cup remain in Chicago, but apart from that I don't have many other requests. Any interested parties can PM me and we can go from there! |

Chaos Cup news!
Rules pack should be done by end of week. Very similar to last year.
New Chaotic Brush painting contest rules and details will be up by end of week as well.
And most exciting....Katie (rowdykatie) has stepped up and will be working with me on running the Chaos Cup, which will also allow me to play in the tournament and participate in a podcast challenge that day as well!
She's going to do a great job as she has already has experience co-running other larger tournaments, notably Gencon, Stupor Bowl, and Put a Ring On It. |
