Just a quick question from a newber, does your team have to be painted?
I know from looking at the site that points will be awarded for painted teams, but most of my team is just black and one is not even primed yet
I was also wondering about the policy on numbering players, is it okay to have the numbers under the bases or do they have to be around the rim or on the figure itself? |

We do have points for painted teams as many tournies do but as you can see by my sig its just 10 points...... this should in reality not make or break anyone in the points.... But to answer your question no they don t have to be painted you would just not get those 10 points.....also as for numbering you can number the bases and that is just fine... i almost always number my bases and not the players. if you have a odd fear of painting this is something that the Harrisburg mafia can "cure"as we have many many good painters and can, if you like, set up some painting times to help you out with your painting.....there are alot of quick easy wats to get a team painted that make them look really good on the table.

I'd say make the numbers all visible on the bases...
So, not to confuse your opponent where you put the 3 skills you get from the tourney... |

Thanks for the clarification. I was just worried because the rules pack said to bring one "painted" team.
As for actually painting minis, I love doing it I just don't have the time to finish before the tournament. I enjoy painting at least as much as playing, if not a little more. The only problem I run into is, with a wife and young daughter, I don't have a whole lot of time to spend on my hobbies. |

Don t let an unpainted team dissuade you from attending. As zinak stated you ll miss out on 10 pts. But the difference between a win and loss for a single game is 40 pts so that 10 pts isn t likely to affect your standings much. We just feel it is important to put some kind of emphasis on painting as that is a significant part of the hobby (and as you stated, as important as playing for some of us).
Hope to see you there! |

For my skill level I don't think ten points will matter much at all.
I only started playing two or three months ago.[/i] |

Dont let your skill lever scare you off. Just come and have a great time.
Remember time is running out for the prereg if you want to choose which dice colors your want to get.
Hope to see you there.
