If you get the Mino Block early on, I think it will be a god choice. Risky but good (if you care about winning that is).
Kudos to you for taking a team that isn't built soley for the purposes of winning (if you wanted to win you wouldn't be playing Chaos anyways ) |

Sorry Anthony, while I was hoping for some advice from you, and other player who had actually played chaos at a tournament, none came in time, and I have played the tournament with Dwarfs instead. Since I came in third, I'm quite content with my choice

Is it just me, or does the team he wrote up in his first post came out to 1,100k?
"1 Mino, 3 CW, 7 BM, 3 RR, 6 FF"
Is it suppose to be 2CW? Or is my math just off somewhere? |

On that same subject, what do you think of this roster for a TR110 tournament?
1 Ogre
4 CW
6 Beastmen
1 FF
3 RR (8 FF and 2 RR?)
I'm in the process of making up a nurgle themed team, and my ogre is looking pretty smart at the mo |

Leave the 3 re-rolls. If you're committed to an Ogre and only 11 players, drop a CW down to a Beastman and go with a FF of 5. Over the course of the tourney, this will pay off. The longer the tourney, the more likely this becomes.
Personally, I'd ditch the Ogre. Mighty Blow doesn't come into play as often as Bonehead and Big Guy. Swap the Ogre for 2 Beastmen and I think you're fine, although I'd still consider dropping that 4th CW for a Beastman and the extra FF.
And if it's a Nurgle-themed team, you should run with a Troll!

heh you ain't seen my converted ogre though
I don't really want to ditch him, but I can see your point. Then again, the idea of losing the Ogre & a CW for 3 beastmen means my roster would be:
3 CW
9 Beastmen
5 FF
3 RR
While this is a decent amount of FF and RR, it still strikes me that the majority of my team is made up of essentially linemen - I only get to use horns once per turn! |

It's a tough set of choices that faces the Chaos coach. I'd start with a Troll rather than a CW or an Ogre, especially if you're going to start with 11 players and no Apothecary. The Regenerate skill will help, the extra ST will prevent him from being knocked over...and he's fun! Heck, you could probably grab Scrappa Sorehead for some real fun
1 Troll
3 CWs
Scrappa Sorehead
6 Beastmen
3 TRRs
5 FF

P.S. For those joining late, this is a TR 110 starting roster. |
