Well,
i have Phil's Valk figs with wolf cloaks and glyphs for my Amazon team "The She-wolves of Wynn" I've had opponents who are envious that my last name Wynn works really well for that  . The team is called the "Lake Ivanhoe Valkyries" when played as Norse. Lucky once again to actually live ON Lake Ivanhoe  .
My current project is a Pro Elf/ Dark Elf team called "The Nevermore Ravens" with all kinds Raven counters. It will be very cool when completed.
Really NEED cool names for my next 2 teams=Vampires and Necromantic. |

I managed to pick up a new human team at Nottingham over the weekend and im going for the NFL feel.
The Miamisburg Dolphins (i know, i know) will be their names. I like the new human players so im not converting them but I will definately be doing some coaching staff and dolphinesque counters for re-rolls and score. |

Yeah, I saw the new Human Team in the last Fanatic magazine and thought they look pretty nice(!) and first I thought, darn it! Why am I converting a team now that there's a new team out there, but, I thought converting makez it all worth it and also special.
I hope you'll do well with your part of the converting, and if you ever get around to it, I'd like to see pics of the counters, etc. |

Hullo NAF Members! Been playing BB for a few years, but new to NAF. This thread looks like it is a little bit old, but I thought I'd post the team names I've used in the past.
The Rats of the Three Kingdoms (Skaven)-Named after characters from Three Kingdoms Era China (Guang Yu, Lu Bu, etc)
Maidens of Misandry (Amazon)
King's Blood (Human)-Using names from the card game of the same name
Mission Accomplished (Necro)-Named after famous US Republican Politicians
Flowers from Heaven (Dark Elves)-Named after Angels with flowery epithets (Yuriel, the Burning Lily of Judgement, etc)
Itadakimasu! (Lizardmen) - Named after sushi, the skinks are all various maki and the saurus are nigiri.

We all have two teams, the Dwarf Giants & New Quetza Saints are mine. There is a few of us that played 2nd Edition BB way back when, during that time we never thought about making our own new teams we thought the game was meant to be played with the existing 40 league teams, so thats what we played with. As you can see those old teams (Dwarf Giants, Orcland Raiders, and Athelorn Avengers) still bring back alot of memories of good times as kids to us. We can't help but bring a little bit of the past into our current league. |

| I've always preferred NFL-style names... I've been playing with the Loren Rangers for a few years now. That's not the case across our league, though, as my chief rival is a Dark Elf team called "Punctured Balls". (They're using the Shadowforge dominatrixy models) |
