Why, exactly, does the Kroxigor get Throw-Teammate?

While the idea of a skink earning The Right Stuff, is awesome, it currently is not possible...

So what gives with the Krox getting that useless (at least to him) skill?

Where's the Krox listed as having TTM? It's not in my copy of the LRB. Question

*blinks sheepishly*

Holy crap.

Nevermind. I have the LRB... it's just input on one of the team sheets we use in Excel.

Sorry. False alarm!

Heh. I'll go back to my dreams of flying skinks. Very Happy

I am all for lobbing skinks, although I see it a horribly unbalancing. If a team is forced to keep people off the line to counter your deep threat, then your 4ST line is going to hammer the opposition. Of course I am and advocate of giving wood elves Right Stuff. To think that a Treeman can toss a skinny wood elf down the field like a javelin is rediculous.

I think that Right Stuff should be an Agility Trait. I know that means that the one turn scoring teams would be able to score even easier than before, but throwing your team mate when they're carrying the ball has always been a risky play, and so should be encouraged. It's never made sense to me why every Halfling and Goblin in the land has Right Stuff, and yet Elves never do. Is it because they're more ball-shaped? A two band range penalty should compensate for the regular folks incursion into stunty monopoly.

How to keep it from being lethal? Make it so that a player can't move after being thrown that round. Then that catcher won't feel so dangerous.

What's next? Flying witches?

nah....keep stunty and the TTM the way it is! Otherwise you take the only advantage way from the Halfling and Goblin team

do you think an elf would ever 'let' a treeman throw him? Why not just chuck a dwarf? I don't think halflings or goblins have much say in the matter... *though I'm sure the gobo's don't mind to much.. there kinda nutty like that*
