what happens when a death roller is turned into a toad?
and if that toad is than knocked out?
also the rules state that a death roller is broken if it is knocked over or dammaged in any way. if this is the case what is the point of an AV for the death roller. |

The only reason for the AV is to determine whether the blocking player gets a CAS.
As for toads, good question, i have no idea. |

Treat it as a toad.
Then it's gone.

Also I was wondering what should happen to the player riding it?
In our league we are using the experimental rules where you but players secret weapons but i am not sure what to do with the player riding the death roller, should he roll AV or roll for injury or should he be out of the game? |

Make an armour roll. If you break AV 10, any injuries apply to the player on top of the machine being broken. |

In all seriousness, if you break the deathroller you don't get a CAS do you? The rules state:
"Death-Rollers that are knocked over by a block, or by the use of a Wizard;s spell, or whose boiler blows moving extra squares, or that suffer an injury in any way, are wrecked for the rest of teh game. Remove the model from the field and place in teh Dead and Inured Player's box in teh dugout to show this. The Death-Roller may not be used again this match, though it will be repaired in time for the next game."
This would imply you break armor and are done. No roll for injury, you simple break the big bad disgused groundskeeper that tried to run you over and that player does not return for the game.
Am I correct or does this change with the secret weapon rules? I believe that none of the secret weapon rules allow you to use the player without the weapon so if the wepaon goes, in this case, the Death-Roller, the player is gone, in a sense, too...and being back for the next match implies to me as a Commissioner that it simply goes for this game and no CAS is awarded. However, my interpretation gives a team CAS to the inflictign team, but not a CAS to the player since you do not roll for armor or inury once you knock it over and it soemthign other than a block is used, you don't roll armor, it just happens.
Sucks, but this is blood bowl after all, you ain't jsut palyign with dolls anymore littel girl...

Official rule, you can never get a CAS against a Deathroller and the AV stat is useless. What most leagues do however, like i stated above, is roll for AV and see if you can hurt the driver! |

Just replace the Deathroller driver with a toad...likewise there's some scope for converting toads with chainsaws....
