Post subject: New league for Skaven!!!!! How will they Do????

im playing in a new league and im playing Skaven for the first time in a league
my Starting line up
2 x Gutter Runners
2x Storm Vermin
2x Throwers
6x Lineman
1x Apothecary
2x Re-rolls
5x Fan factor
ROUND 1
My opponent is playing Dark elfs and is playing with just 2 blitzers and 9 lineman with 2 re-rolls and 8 or more fanfactor. So my question is............. Who will WIN?????? PLACE YOUR BETS NOW!!!!!

Depends on how long the league is, if it's more than 10 games (not including playoffs) I agree with you that the DE will come out on top.
And starting with 9 ff I never really got, I often start with 5 ff. The 40k I save I spend to take position players, these make all the difference in the first matches, giving me wins which gives me + 10k on winnings and lets my ff go up anyway. The drawback is that if you are really unlucky in the first 2-3 games you'll suffer for the rest of the league. But I'll take the risk.
Rerolls are another matter tough. |

in the fresh league comin up this is my startin lineup
2 - GR
2 - SV
2 - TH
5 - LR
1 - Apoc
2 - RR
9 - FF
10k treasury
im stickin with the apoc early cause i play lots of bruiser teams and i expect somethin to get hurt.. so im savin it for a GR or SV..
we are also messin around with endorsment rules as well.. so if everythin goes well for my 1rst game.. i should have a massive roster early to take a early boost in the league.. |

the commish came up wit these..
after the 1rst game of season your team can find an endosrment.. roll on a chart to see if they endorse you..
1-5.. better luck next time.. they just arent interested yet..
6.. succeed!! you get the sponsership.. you get +1 FF automatically (fans see you on commercials) and 1 d6 x 10k money for treasury..
modifiers to the roll..
+1 2+ cas
+1 2+ TDs
-1 for EACH consecutive loss..
after sponsorship you get add 20k to treasury after each game if you win when u win
if you LOSE.. roll on chart..
1.. sponsership drops ya like a rock.. you cannot get sponsership until next season and you lose 1 RR..
2-4.. rebuilding stage.. sponsors dont want u giving them a bad name.. so they send you to other directors.. see chart below..
5-6.. you talk your way out.. give the sponsors confidence you can still be productive..
rebuild chart
1.. they decide coaching is a problem.. automatcially lose d3 coaching staff(including head)
2-5.. drop dead weight.. you must fire a guy off your roster.. cut back on expenses..
6.. you talk you way out of it again.. nothing happens to ya.. corperate cant decide on anythin so your free..
thats the basics of it.. im not sure if its to 100% accurate cause they are fresh rules coaches can take on OPTION.. so if you wanna gamble and take up some extra money.. but you dont have too... kinda adds spice to the game plus we also have to come up with gimmicks for the game and "advertise" like bloodweiser, etc.. |

It seems to like those rules punish the ppl that make a bad start and reward those that take a good start, giving them an extra edge. |

The result was 3-2 to me with and the cas score was 2-1 to me and my cas was only badly hurt so i thought i out of that quite luckly.

| ehhh... da orcs are tuff.. i have bout 5 orc teams in my league.. those blitzers are lb for lb prob the 1rst or 2nd best in the league.. |

i know we have 2 orc teams and a undead team and in my fixtures im playing undead after the round 2 of the league (OHHHH that gonna hurt)  |

| my schedule last season was, 3 orc, 1 undead, 2 dwarf, 1 dark elf, 1 human... by the time i got too the dark elves i was down to a 12 man roster (outta 16) missing.. i had a very tough season.. damn bruisers.. |
