I've been working on some conversions for my Chaos Dwarf team, let me know what you think!
Firstly a Troll, this is one of the latest Warhammer Chaos Troll mini's. I cut off his weapons and sculpted some knuckle dusters. Took a shoulder pad from a blood bowl Ogre, shortened it and glued it to his right shoulder. Lastly sculpted some rope to 'attach' the shoulder pad.
Next is a Bull Centaur. Simply used Htharks bull half and cut the legs and part of the body of a Chaos Dwarf at an angle so it'd sit upright on the bull half. Still need to fill in some gaps, will probably sculpt a belt with a suitable buckle on the front.
I've always wondered how best to represent a strength 4 Chaos Dwarf, I'd always toyed with the idea of cutting the arms off of one and replacing them with bigger chunkier ones. But with half a Hthark I've found a better solution! Again using green stuff I made him a body below the belt. Once that dried I added scales, and there we have one big bad strong looking Chaos Dwarf!
I still need to sculpt some feet but am not sure how to do this. I could give him flat static feet like the other Ch Dwarfs, or try and do a more dynamic pose with the right foot under the body to make him look like he's stepping forward.
Any ideas? |

Nice conversions!
I was recently thinking on adding one of those chaos trolls, body 1, head 1, and cut the two axe hands to make it fit for my chaos dwarves ...
You were faster! |

*lol* thanks! Yeah I actually started on the troll late last year but have only just started painting it. It's so much easier to get motivated to paint when you're actually playing with the team! |
