Just a quick post to say thank you to all of those who participated in Leviathan 2004. I had a really good weekend and enjoyed meeting some new people, as well as some old faithfuls.
Congratulations are owed to the following people for their performances:
1st: Stephen Babbage
2nd: Peter Garden
3rd: Phillip Young
Best Sport: Peter Garden
Best Painted Team: Stephen Babbage
Encouragement Award: Anthony Lai
Thanks again for a really enjoyable tournement. I look forward to seeing you all (plus hopefully some more!) next year!
Cheers! |

This was the first tourney that I had entered to play Blood bowl and i'm glad to say that i'll be playing again. Not only was it good to play different players, it was played with great sportsmanship (which some other tourneys aren't ).
A big thanks to Emma for running a great tourney, Stephen for providing some great prizes and for all those coaches who played.
See ya at Leviathan next year,
Peter. |

The next Leviathan BB tourney will be next year, in April or May. I'll notify you all in plenty of time for it! The next BB tourney in Sydney will be MOAB, played in Sylvania over the long weekend in October. Babs is running it and should have some fantatstic prizes, as well as free entry to Cancon (Australia Day long weekend, in Canberra) for the winner. I'm sure info will go up here on the Tourney section soon. (Hint, hint Babs! )
Thanks for your vote of confidence Pete!
The Encouragement Award is just what is sounds like. An award to encourage new players into the game, particularly players who come to the first tourney and lose every game. We want to show that BB is a great game to play and that we like having new guys on the scene. Plus it's a chance to give away some great prizes!
So, I look forward to seeing all you Aussie players (and maybe some overseas players!) at Leviathan next year!
Cheers! |

This surely sounds like a new way of awarding the Wooden Spoon there down under ... |

I wouldn't have put it quite like that, but yeah... |
