I love spreading this addiction, errrrr...
I mean, I love showing this game to players!!

I do notice one thing, when new players get on the pitch...

Who ever gave them their Demos, or when they read the rule book - Blocking with Assists seems to confuse the players.
"How many Block Dice do I roll for that model vs that model?"

Stressing how Blocking Dice work should be the most important thing...
They should be taught blocking with Strength in mind, noooooot...
Coaches seem to always say, "With that Free Assist or with that Assist."
What needs added is, "With that Free Assist, my model become Strength 4."

I'm not gonna put any Diagrams up, cuz none are needed.
**When showing this game to new Coaches or when Honing the Skills of coaches with a few games under their belt - Stress using Strength over any other means of Blocking and using the dice.

Thoughts or comment?

OK, SuM. I m taking this as a personal affront. I taught the new coach you were playing. I taught him right... he s just dumb.

Seriously though, it just takes a while. Seeing 2 die blocks is one of the aspects of the game that new players take the longest to develop. Don t know why. That and dodging... they never see the difference between dodging into TZ and dodging out of TZs.

No bampf, not John... He was good at figuring things out, and I also knew he wasn't up to speed completely...

But all the New Coaches, they need taught about the strength thing...

Jeremy from Carlisle, Thomas and Kevin are the same... They hear other people refering to the "Free Assist" and think that has to be the Be-all end-all thing that determines a 2 Die block...

Grasshopper:
Which big guy, me or Bampf??? I'm sure both of us shop in the Big Boy Section of the Clothes store...

I taught many people how to play. I always teach em right... they re being dumb or not has no bearing on me.

Grasshopper s referring to me. He saw Zinak, my lowly padawan pupil, defeat me in Boston... my darkest hour.
