O.k., after searching for any clarifications I couldn't find anything "official".

Last aturday, an ogre got the duh, where am I handicap result, making him bonehead (again). Laughing

We had a short discussion and basically came up with the same results as suggested on TBB:
-nothing happenes
-he has to roill for bonehead twice
-he is really stupid for that game
-reroll random player

we houseruled it as double bonhead in order for the handicap to have any impact at all, but none of the rulings really convinced anyone (at least the ruling didn't matter fo the later outcome of the game). So I wanted to ask again for opinions in this respect.

I think I would rule he is really stupid, but don't think there is anything offical.

Well I think that making him really stupid is just wrong. I can see the logic involved but don't think that you should be changing existing skills by adding new/duplicate ones.

I don't have anything against the other three but would probably pick the roll twice option last.

I think that the nothing happens option is the most LRB in nature (like the MVP going to a dead player) but re rolling would be the fairest. Though if you're going to go down that route then you probably shouldn't make it possible to roll a bone headed player in the first place.

In the new rules ... isn't that handicap assigned? Guess as commish I would have not allowed him to pick the Ogre to assign the result as he already had the skill. Just my thoughts.

I would add an additional pip to the die roll. So when he would roll 1-2 to determine whether or not he performs the action.

Rolling twice would be the fun solution. Rolling a different player would be the balanced solution. Nothing is pretty much the implication of the rule.

I'd actually go with a 'whoops, wasted handicap' approach for you.

This is already the case when you do something like roll Virus against a team that has no niggling injuries. You don't get to reroll the 'Bribe the Ref' that lets you set up with twelve players if you only have eleven available to play. The same goes for 'In the Bag' if your opponent has eleven or fewer to start.

Agree with Cervidal here.

LRB 4.0 Handicap table:

In Da Bag is gone
Bribe the Ref for 12 player set up is gone
Duh Where Am I is now a player you choose ... its not random.

So the RR took care of a lot of these dead random issues.
