Ok i a game in our league last night, a situation came up that we were not sure about.

Ok it is understood that a player with Stand Firm can not be pushed back from a Block. But here is my question.

V=person being blocked
S=Stand Firm player
M=other players
X=Attacking player
O=Empty square

OMM
XVS
OMM

Now player X gets a push result on a block, could player V get pushed into player S & therefore player S would in turn move as well. So bassically is Stand Firm only usefull from Blocks they themselves receive?
Or can as in the above diagram a Stand Firm player be pushed from another pushed player?

Thanks.

From the skill description of Stand Firm "If a player is pushed back into a player with Stand Firm then neither player moves."

As doubleskulls said it: no, you cannot pushback the player with Stand Firm.

For whatever it's worth...and I understand the FUMBBL is in no way an "official" guide...what he described above would allow you to push back a stand firm player in the FUMBBL Java Tool.

Obviously the correct ruling is as DoubleSkulls detailed above, but if SewerRat plays FUMBBL...that may the reason for the confusion.

actually, Ski changed this recently so that you can't choose to push a player into another player with standfirm at all in the client

Cool beans...I didn't realize that. Then again...not many Goblins have Stand Firm, so that may explain why I didn't pick that up yet. Smile
