Ok since you can never be pushed back with Stand Firm, & you need to Pushback a player back one square to strip the ball. Does Stand Firm negate Strip Ball?

No, the pushback result is still there. It just doesn't move a player with stand firm.

So, strip ball and frenzy both work against a stand firm player on a pushback result on the block.

I'm not sure about the Stand Firm/Strip Ball question...but I am fairly sure that Stand Firm stops Frenzy in its tracks. Can someone confirm this for me?

-Rob

EDIT: I just went back to check the LRB and it states that a player with Stand Firm may "choose to never be pushed back as a result of a block" and "completely ignores push back results."
Looking at Frenzy, "...if a frenzied player pushes back an opponent without knocking them over, they must follow-up and throw another block..."

Given that there is no such thing as a Push Back when targeting a Stand Firm player...there seems to be no possibility for follow-up blocks.

at the begining of the Skills section there is a list of 4 things that apply to all skills/traits.

      Quote:
3. Some skills refer to pushing a player back in order
to work. These skills will work as long as you roll a
push back on the Blocking dice.

So, strip ball works against stand firm.

Also, frenzy works against stand firm

etc.

LRB 4.0 is going to try and make it more clear that Strip Ball and Frenzy work vs Stand Firm for push results by identifying the dice roll rather than a result.
