OK, so from what I understand, Pro can be utilized in anything other than Armor, and Injury Rolls...
But we have a couple of niggling doubts, so can Pro be used -
1. To reroll a botched landing from a thrown team-mate?
2. To reroll a failed Wild Animal, Really Hungry, Off for a Bite, Take Root, Bonehead, or Really Stupid Roll?
3. To start up a Chainsaw? To Light a Bomb? With Secret Weapons at all?
4. To Reroll a failed Foul Appearance Roll (i.e. you go to block a Rotter, and roll that dreaded '1')
Thanks in advance! |

1) The landing player can use Pro, not the big guy
2) Yes
3) Yes
4) Yes
Pro does only work half the time though. So its very useful, but often you'll end up wishing you used a team reroll. |

....unless you have already used your team RR in that turn...then you start cursing your dice
As i understand it you are allowed to use a team RR to reroll your failed Pro-roll (except BG) |

Heh, yeah, that's what I had meant with the first situation.
Thanks! |

I like Pro for blitzers, or other players that block a lot. You try to make 2 dice blocks anyway and a double pushback is often worth a second try as long as it doesn't use up a re-roll. Which, knowing Nuffle, is needed after all since, if you make the pro roll, you'll roll double skulls. |

Pro on Big Guys has saved me a LOAD of Hasale with my Two Treemen in a Halfling Team I've had games were Hive had so many re-rolls i don't know what to do with them as my Treemen keep screwing up in a major way (Trebble Skull 3 times on the trot ain't funny) |

DukeJan, when you use pro to reroll the dice you can't then use a team reroll to reroll them a second time. You may only reroll dice once so those double skulls stand. |

I'd say yes, but what about regenerate? |

the rules explicitly say that you cannot reroll regenerate (see skill description). But since this does not seem to apply to thick skull, I would also say you can reroll thick skull with pro. But I am not sure.
What about the use of a team rr for thick skull then (if it is your own turn, or the end of it, of course)?

Thick skull is a D6-roll made by a player in a turn like any other.
All available rerolls can be used to reroll this:
pro if the player has the skill
TRR if it is in your own turn. |
