Is there a listing of all "annually" held tournies in the US area. I want to come out and meet some of the people I talk to on the forums. I live in Omaha Nebraska and while we have several cons, I have not seen any official NAF tournies anywhere within a hundred or so miles of me. |

Unfortunately I don't think we have much in the middle west of the USA. The 3 biggest tournaments in North American right now are held in Chicago, Indianapolis, and Tampa ... I think Mel's tournament in Boston is getting decent sized as well.
What major cities are within 100 miles of Omaha?

The Beantown Brouhaha is growing each year.
20 coaches (19 NAF) this year
I update the calendar of events on House-Rulez now, so please let me know of any you find that I am missing. |

You can also go to the touraments icon above and then click show past tournies...you get this for 2005 (if you delete anything overseas). I'll bold those I know to be recurring and have run at least twice.

note that it is missing the Beantown Brouhaha from June 2005 as that shows up in My tournament section as the TO, also Spike! isnt in there yet. I should also add that as far as I know, the Philly Phrakus, Rhody Rampage, Death Cup, Zlurpee Bowl, and C0Q should be running next year for the second time from what I have heard. Your best bet is to check with each TO on the specifics |

Golden Skull and the South Bend Slaughter have both occurred more than once and are planned to continue re-occurring.

Bah serves me right for being born in the middle of noplace. Well actually Omaha is a sizable city now. <up to 210th street I believe and swallowing smaller communities as fast as we can digest them.> I will be taking a trip to New York in the near future, I was hopeing there might be something on the way between Omaha and Long Island. I haven't decided if we are going through Chicago or some other direction. I would be tempter <even with gas prices> to plan my take the newest baby born sometime in october early november to see it's grandmother on it's mother's side, around a tourney. |
