Ok..I finally am able to acess talkbloodbowl.com again after adding the host file thing doubleskulls explained (thanks Ian!)
Now I can't seem to get in to blood-bowl.net where the MBBL league lives. I am not in it of course...but this seems to be the home of Play by email stuff and I would like to give that a try.
Any ideas? |

Here is how doubleskulls said to solve the talkbloodbowl.com problem.
I do. There is some issue with the DNS propagation.
One temporary solution is to put the following line in your hosts file (normally C:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers\etc\hosts)
81.168.2.123 www.talkbloodbowl
That ought to allow you to connect. I can't connect from work, because the stupid firewall can't resolve the name and I don't have permission to go and edit its hosts file.
Given this..is there a similiar way to solve the problem with blood-bowl.net? I asume if I could get the IP number as in the above all might be fine. But how does one get THAT number?
Any help would be apprciated. |

Yeah...but still no lovin'. Host file trick didn't work. And attempts to ping and tracert the site also ended up in "timed out" mesages.
So I assume this blood-bowl.net thing is really just a giant hoax designed to drive me crazy! |
