I am starting to put together a custom pitch for my blood bowl Team, and I am thinking that someone on the forum has probably put together their own Electronic scoreboard.
A counter for the score, and maybe an LED counter with reverse chase to track rerolls? If anyone has done this or could give me some direction, it would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Brent |

The funny thing was if you'd checked this very forum you'd have found the same post about 4 down from this one
Out of interest, the reason mine only had the score LED was because of the size of the circuit boards. I was using kits made for teaching children, meaning the entire height of that tower is filled with two overly large PCBs. Originally I'd planned on a second counter for casualties, but that was ruled out by lack of space. I have no doubt whatsoever than a competent hobby electronics guy could produce a tiny miniaturized version of what I was using, clearing space for as many counters as you'd like. |

Yep - I overlooked it completely when I was checking out your Pitch post.
I was thinking about using just plain LED lights for Re-rolls. I think I remember seeing somewhere in my research that you can light up a line of LEDs and then program them to hit the button to turn them off one by one. I liked that idea because it looked more like the timeout tracker on a scoreboard. Plus I was thinking about using my logo with the center lighted up for each Re-roll Marker.
Thanks for the leads and inspriration.

Last year at the B7 a coach showed an electronic score marker
Perhaps I get news in June 08 after the B7.
I tried it too some years ago, but the cableing was really a mess:
It need's too much power, so no chance for batteries - I have to use a power supply |

I am glad you posted this. I was wondering whether to try and group the components that I was planning under one power source or to try and keep the components seperate to keep it on the portable and battery size. Your posting gives me a better idea, and that I want to keep my two 7 segment counter displays and two LED strings for Rerolls probably all seperate.
Thanks,
